Looking forward to a REAL LSU fast tempo offense

LSU of course did away with the huddle years ago but never really got into a fast tempo offense. In fact, I would not miss one bit LSU lining up with 20 seconds left on the play clock, looking around forever, and about twice per half either getting a delay of game penalty or having to utilize a timeout to avoid the penalty.
I never figured out whether the plays were coming in too slow from Sloan or whether Nussmeier was overanalyzing but I complained to my brother time and time again....why in the hell is LSU the only team in college football who can't get the play off. They just stood there for almost 20 seconds.

I might shed a tear when the receiver catches an out to the sidelines then runs and spots the ball on the hash and the O is already lined up before the ref officially spots the ball.

I remember 2019 offense would hurry to the line on a 3 & short. You would think more teams would do that. Yeah thats the closest we've gotten to ultra quick tempo.

We don’t need to be fast. It’s not like we’re in the Chip Kelly era either where fast is a novelty

At a minimum no wasted timeouts getting a play in.
