That was their great "take over Baton Rouge".

The Miami game at Jerryworld was an underrated game too. Everything we heard leading up to the game about “tha U is back” and in Arlington all their trash fans wearing the turnover chain crap. Jonathan Vilma even came on AFR and picked Miami because he had “inside info” that LSU’s players weren’t bought in to Orgeron and he wouldn’t be the coach much longer.
And then we came out and dominated.

2. Miami game 1. Miami has a great year under Richt in 2017 and is looking to capitalize. 1st game of the year ranked 24TH and we go out there and dominate.
i watched this game on youtwoed last week. the 40 minute one.

Miami was no match for the Tigahs.

Lo frickin L. 01 was as close to a championship ride as any other championship season at the time bro. Now, I’ll take another 2019 fo sho tho..

Got smoked by Florida and lost to Ole Miss at home by double digits. November and Dec were really good though.

I think I yelled and cheered more at that game than I had since I was a teenage over 30 years ago. A guy in front of me got pissed.......not because I was loud but because I had to go Pee. He said man you better hurry back!!

Even though A&M sucked the revenge was so sweet

the loss to UF and Bama was some what excusable....now the A&M loss was the only true ‘sour’ part of the season.

Getting shut out by Bama was the worst. It was NOT excusable, and it was SOUR.

The bowl game against UCF really gave me an idea this team was gonna be real good in 2019. That hit Joe took and then came back and basically told UCF to STFU was a true sign we had a qb that could lead us........

The 2018 season had some great moments, but the 29-0 beat down we suffered against Alabama is hard to ignore.

I think it showed we had a pretty good qb but still not up to par play calling and the necessary changes were made.

But last season is the best. We owned college football and lived up to the expectations the fans had for this program moving us back into elite status.

Lots of people had us going 6-6 and firing the coach. Didn't believe it for a second

What a liar. Nobody on here backed O like Ree did. And WE (including me) all hammered him. Don't try to look like you were on the O bandwagon from the beginning. Just not a good look.

I don’t know. Got shut out by Bama and lost to aTm.

Yes there were some great moments but hard to say it’s a favorite season.

LSU had the #2 recruiting class in the country in 2016. Joe Burrow was clearly competent even before he played a snap at LSU. The idea that we were going to drop 5 or 6 games shows how ignorant most "experts" can be.
