so much depends on how we mature with experience, both players and coaches.

i see improvement from both. Play calling definitely needs to be better, and i see us taking baby steps every week. defense needs to play as a unit to stop big running plays - i.e. solid gap coverage and tackling. DB's need to learn how and when to turn their heads. Again, defense is getting better.

hopefully we have a smooth tune-up game this weekend and look good. We'll know what we have after Ole Miss. I mean I think we'll be able to project Win-loss record better. this team, imo, will continue to improve regardless.

hmmm...I think Arkansas and Texas A&M may be better than or as good as Oklahoma

I think Oklahoma might be one of those teams that is better in November than they are now. They have looked like shite so far, but I think they are way better than they have played.

Bama very likely loss
Ole miss probable loss

Not really any gimme games after south Alabama and I don’t even know if that is bc they may score a lot.

Probably find at least 1 other loss

8-4 seems reasonable outlook but 7-5 or 9-3 wouldn’t be surprising either

You mean to tell me Kelly is gonna get out coached by these guys?

Well he’s been out coached by norvell x2, Lincoln Riley, kiffin, and jimbo fisher.

Not to mention the embarrassing losses to saban, heupel, and Kirby.

I wouldn’t say it’s out of the realm of possibilities.

Probably 9-3

9-3 and missing out on the playoffs should be unacceptable.

You don't pay a coach the ridiculous amount of money that LSU is paying BK and not expect a better return on your investment, otherwise we are no better than A&M.

If you are saying we improve in the second half, I can agree. However, this team sucks out loud for long stretches in the first half/beginning of games. This is also part of "in game coaching".

Arkansas plays A&M this weekend. I think A&M will win that game, and they'll be favored over LSU at home by about a TD

I want to convince myself 10-2, but I would guess 9-3. I wouldn't be too upset considering I think the future is bright. 8-4 or worse would be a different story

They're all SEC games, we could definitely lose any one of them.

Agreed. I see us anywhere between 9-3 and 7-5. We don't have the defense to go 10-2. This is not a playoff roster.

I'm thinking anywhere between 10-2 and 8-4.

I expect the Bama game to be a loss, that's the 2nd. I think they just have too much talent and depth, and wear us down late.

Ole Miss here and A&M on the road, where they give us fits. Those are the other 2 I can see going either way...
I think Ole Miss is better than us, but it's here in Tiger Stadium, where they tend to have trouble.
Same thing applies to A&M, I think we're better than them, but they get a good home bump.

Best case: 9-3
Worst case: 7-5

We either go 9-3 with losses to Ole Miss and Bama or we implode and go 7-5 with losses in 2/3 of the road games.

We’ll lose @ A&M, Arkansas or Florida before we lose to Oklahoma. If you think lsu is overrated you should check out that program…

Both road games… Fayetteville and college station won’t be easy. Especially if we are riding wins verses ole miss and bama.

And Fl and Vandy could be losses too. OM will surface the reality of what this team is made of.

Other than Ole Miss and Bama, the rest of the offenses lsu will see this year are pretty bad. Getting Ole Miss coming out of a bye can’t be bad either.
