I know it was a close game and know in hindsight no about of money would have been to much to be there in person especially since I live here and we got the results we all wanted. I enjoyed that Burrow wiped those smug arse grins of their faces more than you can ever know. Since the game I’ve had very few Longhorn fans congratulate on the the game even close friends I talk to quite a bit. I said this before I’ve been here for 14 years and knew they were arrogant but now after that game I see it even more. The baseball fans were/ are different it seems because I didn’t see this side. We hit them where it hurts and they as delusional as they can be are completely surprised and have no idea how to be classy and say “good game”. I’m not speaking for all of them but most IMO and experience since the game.

They can’t stand to lose to LA. They feel superior in every way.
My Dad is a UT can since the 90s when my sister went to school there.
No mention of it for days, until I hit him up. If LSU had lost, I’d have sent congrats right afterwards.
You’re right- it’s the effect of getting asses kicked by someone you thought you were better than.

Texas, one of the most self-righteous states in the country, sore losers? I don’t believe it.

I'm a little shocked that any of them expected to win to be honest.

How old is that kid? His face says 12 but the rest of him says 20. I'm truly baffled.

Not only that, but it was a weird time in the game to be melting like that. The result was still in question at that point.

Also, why are no adults consoling him?? Assholes.

Texted the "crying" gif to a Texas fan who went to the game. Has yet to respond

Of course he was texting me pre-game.

The last few days have been glorious. My wife and I went to IKEA on Sunday afternoon. I was wearing an LSU ball cap and we passed a lady wearing a purple shirt that said "Geaux" on it. She smiled and gave me a high five. I haven't said a word about the game to my UT colleagues at the office, unless they engage me in conversation about the game. No need to gloat, but it sure feels good.

Maybe because he’s too old to be crying like a little girl and his parents don’t want to condone that kind of behavior?

Walking around this area and working out at Golds with my LSU shite on makes me feel like I’m in college again with the pride I feel after that game. I was at the Cotton bowl 2003 and have a disdain that has grown over time for them I never realized until now I guess.

They’re still melting like a BR snowman in August over on Surly Horns.

I’ll be at the Red River game in about a month, thanks to my UT grad wife. I was planning on wearing orange and supporting them.

Seeing the way they’ve responded to this loss I now can’t wait to rock some purple and gold at the game. Will definitely be worth a nights sleep on the couch.

Texas as a state is far superior to anything Louisiana regarding education, infrastructure, work opportunities, etc so don’t even go there, this is about football.

We kicked their arrogant asses and that’s all that matters. LSU is 2-0-Sips are 1-1

I was at the game, and it was a miserable experience sitting way up in the top next to the band, in 103 degree heat.. but the last few days, i’ve been peacocking around in LSU swag and people are literally averting their eyes, in situations where they normally dont.. i love it, and am already thinking forward to early next year, when i can wear my Nat’l Title gear after we win it all, and next September when we beat UT again in Baton Rouge.

I know. It's the same with me. I wore an old LSU shirt to the gym on Tuesday but nobody said a word. Had we lost, I'm sure I would've been subjected to all sorts of snarky comments.

Longhorn fans knew deep down that they weren’t walking away from that game with a win
