How can sankey say no one is leaving camps to come back to college ball? Isn't that all the other teams are saying? Well so and so didn't sign a contract, they just went to a mini camp. Is Sankey that fricking retarded?
It’s like he doesn’t even know what the players he’s allowing to be signed have done.

we gonna lay waste to the SEC rant once this blows up in their faces
I'd like to see Lane rolling that window up but with a middle finger and Sankey's reflection on the window.

SIAP, and probably dumb question, but I’m looking for some kind soul to answer me. Have any of these players been paid for their NFL contracts yet?
I THINK the TRO is dependent on them paying the NFL team back

If university Presidents do not FIRE Sankey after today what in the world would it take?

They’re going to argue that those were mini camps/rookie tryouts not actual training camps.

Harris received $0 to my knowledge. I think I read that Wright made $50k.
I could be 100% incorrect and would gladly retract.

Do mini camps give players per diem? Don’t they sign releases to go out on the field when they suit up ? Is that a contract?

Expect he just said no one is leaving NFL camps to come back to college.
Rookie mini CAMP is, in fact, a camp and it’s a form of training camp. They aren’t simply try out. All the rookies go.

"A training camp is an organized period of rigorous and focused instruction or practice used by athletes and military personnel to build skills, conditioning, and strategies before a competitive season or operational deployment."

According to NFL CBA all players get paid something even the one just trying out in rookie mini camps

Yep this is what i said earlier. There is an NCAA exception for professional tryouts that excludes necessary expenses like room, board, travel, and injury insurance for 48 hours. After that the player has to pay his own way

Exactly!

I think it’s retarded but it’s clear that’s what they’re going to argue and why they think some of these other players are ok.

He didnt say training camp. He said leaving college and going to camps. Which isnt even what their new rule said. They have yet to be anywhere close to consistent on what constitutes pro ineligibility with their new rule.
shite Harris never even put on a helmet. He's less of a "pro" than any other current rostered former pro at UT, OU, Mizzou, UK, USCe, etc.
And now that his dumbass said it on camera, they can yet again use it against him.

Do we have a quote on that??
Heard it from the AG on Moscona on the way home. I'm paraphrasing what she said of course on that one. She said that the SEC suit vs LSU is garbage. Her words.
She did say that Sankey was very evasive.
