Here is exactly where things stand right now as the hearing begins:The Atmosphere: The courtroom is packed. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, and Orleans Parish DA Jason Williams (who was hired to represent the SEC) have all entered the courtroom.

There are 7 football players and 5 female athletes in attendance. Anyone know who the females are?

Hookfin and I are set up across the street. Look for the purple and gold umbrellas. Highsmith is on his way with the daiquiris. Hatch is bringing his famous chicken wings in an hour. Come one, come all. Should be a great day.

What?!
For starters, I'm happy they've hired such an inept lawyer. But the fact that Liz Murrill is sitting on the other side means this judge might rule with their head up their arse.
Is the judge a left-leaning type? If so, I don't like our chances.

leftist more likely to side with players imo. worker's rights and all that.

The SEC Vote Disclosed: SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey submitted an affidavit revealing that the SEC university presidents voted 15-0 in favor of the new rules barring former professional players. Notably, LSU’s representative abstained from the vote

I would agree but I unfortinately think politics absconds that. If the judge hates Landry and his people, but loves people like Jason Williams... It's gonna be a long day.

This is the only reason Williams was hired. Sure he’s a great litigator, but it’s because Stone Pigman couldn’t walk in there alone and expect to win. Still think Tony Clayton has the home field advantage in that political sway front

Tony Clayton will mop the floor with Williams

Soccer players that played this past weekend.

Jason Williams is the first to speak. Saying that the situations of all parties are not the same and cases shouldn't be combined.
SEC should not have to litigate with parties who never participated in sec
