The big thing I keep hearing from them. Defense is lively, DL is dominating, and they are going to tackle really really well.

That’s easy to say we’ll see if they can tackle Chris Hilton, Aaron Anderson , Treydez green and Caden Durham in space

The advantage he gave was Clemsons returners on the OL compared to us. Am I crazy to think the season might hinge on OL play?

That is a very canned camp response. You will hear the quote of "defense is really flying around, hitting hard, and a focus on making plays" from 90% of teams right now. Its fall practice most practices aren't full contact of course everyone is tackling well.

Not crazy at all bro. Doesn’t matter how dynamic the weapons we have are if we’re getting whipped upfront. If the o line nuts up and holds their own this will be one of the best offenses in the country. If they get manhandled agaisnt good teams it’ll get incredibly dicey

It's sucks that Clemson got Allen as a DC. He is the real deal.

Agreed but I’m hoping for new coordinator communication breakdowns that turn into big plays for us

Hurry up offense, keep their DL on their heels

I hope we do this. There have been recent times when this was needed and we waited a lifetime just to get the call in.

If they are referring to the LB Jeremiah Alexander then LOL. The guy who transferred from Bama because he didn’t get a single meaningful snap in two years is now the leader on this Clemson team? What does that say about the rest of this Clemson team…

You talking about the Bama team that beat LSU by 29 last year in BR? You know what, you're right. I'm sure Clemson is going to suck this year...

I have an unhealthy obsession with listening to various teams locked on podcasts.

It’s that time of year where nobody has anything bad to say from practice

Every player is bigger faster, stronger than the new freshman are turning heads

I can’t wait for a week 1

Pretty much a consensus at the point. And safety.

Possibly, but with a marginal defense still prone to give up big plays, slowing it down a bit wasnt a terrible idea.

Clemson’s secondary is cheeks.

I am one to take stats at face value, and last year their secondary was better than their D Line. They finished 83rd in rush yards per game allowed. That's really shite if they have actual 3 1st rounders on D Line. They finished 70th in total yards per game. That means that passing yards allowed per game had to be below 70th while rushing allowed was 83rd.

LSU went from like 130th in total defense to 61st in Baker’s first year last year. Clemson was 69th in total defense last year.
Also, Clemson was 69th in the friggin ACC.

not trying to resurrect this argument but Miles had an 11-0 opening day record at LSU, and against a few damn strong teams, BK? can't seem to be able to get his team ready to open up with almost 9 months to prep
Les Miles was also given a championship level roster while Kelly was given the worst situation since before Saban, and he is in the NIL and transfer portal era.

HOWEVER, let's cut the shite. Les Miles' first 3 years game one opponent were UL, Miss St, and App St. Do you know when we went out there to play Washington on the road in 2009 game one? We barely won that game and Washington ended up 5-7 that year. It was literally Steve Sarkisian's first game as a head coach.

Except for ours. We can fix overnight.
You've been posting a lot of dumbass shite, but let me break it down for you because you're too friggin dumb to understand.

1. Clemson is bringing back the same damn dudes that produced the 69th ranked defense IN THE ACC. Go look at their portal. LSU has brought in half a defense worth of starters. Many of the guys we had last year as starters are either gone or depth pieces.

2. Clemson is bringing in a new defensive coordinator who's changing up things. LSU has continuity in defensive philosophy and improved the talent and experience on at team who went from somewhere in the hundreds before he got there to almost in the 50s after one year.

You literally refuse to admit the truth. There are legit comparisons that make both situations insanely different. You just hate Kelly.
