So then you say...yeah. but LSU gives him a better chance to win. And this is while he is heading to the playoffs with Ole Miss, and LSU can barely scrape up enough talent to beat Arkansas, a 2 win team.

I think he should stay in Oxford; expectations are not the same year in and year out at Omiss. He has done well in recruiting and finally getting Omiss to playoffs . It as far as your comment please look at the totality of your statement. Outside this year Omiss has not been relative since the 60’s. The land sharks are what they are; LSU is just another level once we have stabilized and found the right coach.

downplayed LSU thanks to Landry

Still curious as to what Landry actually did or said.

I really wish these so-called reporters would do their homework before criticizing LSU on the governor's remarks. With no university president in place, the governor did what he was expected to do.

He shattered the myth that taxpayers aren't ultimately on the hook for these ridiculous contracts.

No offense, but you MUST have listened to the wrong Locked On. He clearly made one yesterday with all the nuance you stated, but added in clear reasons why Kiffin and LSU might be legit happening or is way more likely than Florida

1. Kiffin bounced around the question about him possibly leaving instead of straight up saying he's not.

2. He already has a deal on the table at Ole Miss as the highest paid in the country, but hasn't accepted it yet.

3. His connections with Frank Wilson, Pete Golding being from south Louisiana, multiple staff from Ole Miss is now at LSU.

4. He has a son looking at going to LSU.

5. This is according to him, but he says that Ausberry (who talks to Saban a couple times a month religiously), has consulted him and Saban gave an endorsement of Kiffin to LSU.

I’ll have you know that Moscona is connected into the very heart of LSU sports. I mean it is a ridiculous level of connectedness from the LSU president to the housekeepers in the football ops building. So, don’t you losers even try to make fun of him or his claims.

Maybe. But bolting a team during a playoff run is impossible to hide from. There’s always a big time job that opens every year. I think he’s either going NFL after the season or waiting another year or so to make a jump.

Weren’t these the same people claiming Arch Manning would be like Joe Burrow this season?

Bottom line 90% of the time all those dudes do is throw shite at a wall and see what sticks

He's had an extension from Ole Miss on his desk for the past several weeks

Do we know this for sure?
I heard from TD that he was given and ultimatum with the contract. Is there really an extension on his desk?
I imagine there is considering Elko got his and the world knows Lane is the hot commodity.

Wrong. They know Lane has been offered a contract extension at Ole Miss to make him the highest paid coach in the country. They also know he did not sign that extension.

BK’s lawsuit says otherwise.

He is suing the state of Louisiana, not LSU. The difference is that the donors at LSU can now redirect their money elsewhere.

I'm assuming you're meaning that taxpayers are on the hook IF the boosters don't pay him.

NIL is here now. In state means a whole lot less.
A person like kiff, who's loved by the kids, will bring in players wherever hes at.
Im not saying LSU isn't a good job, with good resources, and a great atmosphere.
I am saying that BR is not some sort of tremendous upgrade over Oxford. I will strongly argue its not.

My point stands as this....he can win wherever he is now. He's liked, and they'll throw the checkbook at him, and NIL resources, wherever he is.
Look, I could be totally wrong on this, but Kiff moves around and I imagine will be the hot name in the NFL searches very soon. He seems to be the type to jump on those offers.

Think about this...hes tried hard to, and succeeded, in getting his wife back, and moved her to Oxford. If she likes it there, then there is basically ZERO chance he moves his family to BR, for a couple extra dollars. He's got more money than he can spend, and OM will come close to matching any offer he receives.

I pray to God he would come here..but being realistic, there just is very little upside, and 5x's the pressure to win.

Go after the best coordinators and take a shot. That's what everyone did that could get saban...they grabbed is OC and DC.
