BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - LSU “improperly compensated” a faculty member more than $400,000 in salary and benefits over a nearly three-year period despite the fact he later admitted he did not perform work for the university during that time, according to a new state audit.
“The faculty member knowingly received 38 months of LSU salary and benefits without performing commensurate work,” auditors said in a report issued Monday by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.

Seems like I should be friends with him.

Lipsey would never publicly expose himself as a singular LSU Benefactor seemingly crusading for an Administrative change.
There has to be others on board an using Lipsey as their voice.

good grief...between that debacle at U High and the vet school...that's enough there to send F.King back to snowflake country!!!! and he needs to take a bunch of those culturally deaf Texans he brought in with him!!!!
there are probably a few folks who remember the cluster f@@@ that was uncovered in the 1939-40 time frame...are we doomed to a repeat?

He is accurately articulating what I and many I speak with feel. This Wade situation is a symptom of the disease. I love LSU sports and have a world of fun watching it and spending time with friends and family around it so when something like this comes up it certainly strikes a nerve. However the problem at large is this is how our leadership handles crisis about a basketball coach. If they botch something this small how can they handle a university system spanning across the state with multiple undergraduate, graduate and professional schools each with separate and sometimes competing needs.
