i don't think they are doing a dinner because of the rushed scheduling of the event. I'm sure they can find somewhere in DC to eat a nicer meal than fast food anyway tho and players may actually prefer that. they get a oval office visit and got a great stage speech

It's 2020. People have to make everything political and let you know how much they disagree and don't like the other guy.
Our team just won the title and was celebrated at the white house, yet we have people who have to qualify their pro/anti trump stances while watching it.
I DGAF if it was Obama or trump or Hilary or the flying spaghetti monster. The President of the United States just honored the national championship winning LSU Tigers at the white house and I got to see it live.
