Most of America is. We are mandated by CMS to write patient education, notices and consents no higher than a 5th grade level.

I'm of the belief that Linehan prefers to do what he did in Detroit and that it will mesh nicely with what Ensminger and Oregon have in place already.

I'm in that camp. I would hope the interview went along the lines of hey Linehan is that shite you ran at Dallas what you like cuz we ain't running that you on board?

You’re right and Brady wasn’t the OC either but we all know it was his offense this past season. He dialed up the plays Ensminger picked from and he sent the checks to the sideline so Ensminger had about a 1-7 chance of messing things up.

Brady agreed to a raise putting him over a million dollars per, but Carolina came calling.

Your logic is flawed. What Brady did last year landed him a job with 5x the salary at Carolina.

Linehan is doing the exact same thing taking this job, a launching spot to better and begger things, as it should be.

Merit equals $$$

So how did Jason Garrett’s offense climb to #1 in the NFL immediately after Linehan left?

Didn’t Garrett get fired for going 8-8 in 2019?

Then you can blame Orgeron if it fails. It’s his hire. I choose to believe he knows what he’s doing.

You’re just a contrarian arse, and by your logic it’s O’s fault if we regress to the old offense.

I don’t believe there’s any way that happens.

Meh Os gonna do the best he can.

He wasn’t right in 2017 or 2018 but he didn’t give up or try and hope it got better and was in 2019

I trust him to make it work eventually

The most important part of this is Steve Ensminger simply doesn't care about all the 'politics' you people bring up.

He's in the twilight of his career and I guarantee he loves every minute of allowing others to take the so called spotlight. Dude's a ex LSU QB that just orchestrated our best season ever. Some people, contrary to todays twitter infested world, are just content they did what probably no other will ever do, match HIS LSU offense of last year.

I think most people are of the opinion that just cause he’s older he likes to run an old offense.
Linehan is not running ANY Offense. It's not his to run. He's not the OC. He's not coming here to put in an entirely new Offense. (He'll coach QB's and WR's while adding some things of his to the mix)

Ensminger will be running the 2019 Brady Offense in 2020, with a few Linehan tweaks and additions; just a few more ingredients to the Tiger Gumbo.………...

We all know this.

Brady added his things to the mix last year and they were incredible. There are specific plays he put in each week and called that greatly impacted the outcome of games.

Now that is Linehan's job. He does things in a much different way.

I'm not melting because it is just the PGC, but this is a meh hire.

Go back and watch some of those redzone plays if we are to believe that Joe Brady was given free reigns to call plays inside the 12yrd line. Burrow makes some incredible throws and reads.

Linehan is going to be perceived as a letdown because there’s no possible way we reproduce last year in terms of production. It’s impossible we’re going to be better so it’s going to be viewed as meh.

I think if you hire a guy like Linehan that can work with Ensminger to develop Brennan, that’s more important than bringing in some playcalling wizard that cant make Brennan improve in how to read defenses. You can draw up all the plays you want, but if Brennan panics and gets erratic then it doesn’t matter. This season should be more about getting a hire that can develop Brennan than about changing creative play calling.

We are not running a Linehan offense. He is working with the WRs and helping with third down calls. I’m sure he’ll work with the QBs some too on reads. The route concepts are already there and OUR OC IS THE SAME PERSON. Some of you aren’t very smart.

Last touchdown before half at Alabama.

INCREDIBLE play. Brady installed it that Thursday. It was not some impossibly hard throw, it was just a beautiful play.

There was also a TD against UGA that he installed that week that was an easy throw and completely confused the defense.

There are examples of Brady plays in almost every game that he installed that week and didn't require some Burrow magic to complete. I'm just saying that people who discount what Brady did are being ridiculous. Yes, we still have the core offense, but he brought innovation and installed new things each week for opponents. Linehan will now need to do that.

"Only a PGC"? Sure. But last year our PGC made a massive impact on play calls during each game and new plays installed each week.

ETA:

And I'm not melting about Linehan. I think it's a just a "meh" hire that smells like Cam Cameron in experience/pedigree. His past schemes aren't remotely close to what we run so I question the synergy there.

I think he'll do a fine job mentoring Brennan, on that we agree. I just hope we stay on the cutting edge of offensive innovation. I do think the analysts should help with that though.

And we better keep doing Brady's WR drills and the 10,000 catches in the offseason stuff. That shite worked miracles.

Garret got fired
Kellen Moore (youngest) was the OC w Garret who also acted as HC.
Linehan was w the Cowboys for 4-5 years as OC

The thing w Cowboys is that no one knows what influence/rfestriction was brought onto his style,
or if he had a free-range for offense ???
