Linehan's spread concepts
Here's a link showing what Linehan likes to run. It's Top Billin which some love and some dislike but I thought it was interesting. A lot of the same stuff LSU already likes to run. LINK

Nah. Orgeron is dumb and is surrounding himself with people that will only set the program back. I know because I watch NFL games.

You posting this adds to the narrative. If you don’t like it don’t speak it into existence.. 90% of td posters have the intelligence of a 4th grader

I like the hire.

Never thought I would see the day that I would be in the minority defending Orgeron on here when it comes to football.

I like the hire also...I think most people are of the opinion that just cause he’s older he likes to run an old offense.

I think Dallas fans would tell you that it is just because he likes to run an old offense

It’s been hilarious watching Rantards who’ve never seen or known they’ve seen a Linehan offense tell Cowboy fans they’re ignorant about Linehan. This place is 80% make believe.

re: Linehan's spread concepts
So how did Jason Garrett’s offense climb to #1 in the NFL immediately after Linehan left?

re: Linehan's spread concepts
I'm definitely pretty ignorant when it comes to the Cowboys. I ask this, is it possible that Jerry Jones and Garrett were committed to the run because of a young QB, great line and Zeke was their best player? Then, when they made the change Garrett knew he was coaching for his job and let Moore do his thing?

I'm of the belief that Linehan prefers to do what he did in Detroit and that it will mesh nicely with what Ensminger and Oregon have in place already.

re: Linehan's spread concepts
Well some of what you’re saying was true. Dak was young and needed to be managed plus you had a great run game. But Dak was regressing under Linehan and Jerry put pressure on him because he didn’t use Daks legs and didn’t use RPOs and wouldn’t move pieces around to create matchups. WRs always lined up in the same places and ran the same routes, there was zero innovation. He’s been an NFL OC for a long time, he’s not stupid, the issue is he’s very bland and does he mesh with what worked for us which was formations causing advantageous matchups which led to big plays. I’m a Cowboy fan and I’d compare him a lot to Sark only Sark is better at getting his playmakers the ball.

I dont love or hate the hire. But i know deep down that if Linehan doesn’t produce next year, O will dispose of him like he did Canada. Coach O knows what he wants and what LSU needs. He will do what it takes to keep this train going upward. Im excited to see the offense next year, it will have more weapons than last.

re: Linehan's spread concepts
Linehan was hired to add to what we already have, not change it.

He’s under SE and the idea is to have his ideas integrated into what we were already doing to help us evolve.

The key is just how well SE, Linehan, Cregg, and the other coaches and analysts mesh.
