7 th best record of any coach in America over the last three years. Took over a program that had a significantly flawed roster and rebuilt it. More good things coming

yes But you were complaining that people were calling this a 9-3 season which is what determines our bowl.

and he was the one talking about insecurity. reflecting is real folks.

Wow. Glad to see you going out of this thread just like you came into it, like a little bitch.

Only insecure little sissies pay attention to up and down votes. I rarely up, or downvote, threads. Get over yourself snowflake bitch.

Edit: upvoted myself in this thread, just to prove to you that I owned your arse. Now get the frick out boy.

You mentioned the 3 scrub OOC games

saying we went "9-3 during the regular season" is the definition of singling out a game. the bowl game that we played

Good lord do you know why they call bowls the post season?

My god man why can’t you understand something so simple? We are 10-3 ok yes that’s our record but the reason people concentrate on the REGULAR season record is because its the record that determines our post season.

Read the thread. There's a guy literally saying we won that game so technically we're 11-2

for intents of evaluating players'/coaches' performances, we won that game. it shouldve been an LSU victory if the refs didn't screw the pooch. noone is arguing our record is 11-2. that clearly isn't the case and noone else will remember how badly we got fricked in a year.

but as far as evaluations go, you have to say the coaches did a good enough job that there should be another win on the resume.

while i hated the conservative play calling at the end of the game, i watched multiple NFL coaches do the same shite this weekend. it isn't an LSU exclusive thing that only our coaches are stupid enough to do over and over again seemingly no matter who we hire

It was a good season and should be respected as such.

I expected more than 5-3 with a O producing less pts and yds per game than our 2015 team, but hopefully all that gets fixed in 2019 and yes....I know we say that a lot.

Well, I'm working off the assumption that for LSU to go 11-1 the offense would have to be much improved.

Though I generally agree, stranger things have happened.

I know this: if the 2011 LSU team could not close the deal by running / playing defense / playing special teams, there is 0% chance the 2019 LSU team can win a NC by running / playing defense / playing special teams.

i don't know where the bar is right now but it sure as frick isn't "Beat the best program in college football history on the road or your fired"

if those were the requirements there wouldn't be any coaches left in the NFL or CFB

Top 4 Problems with Les Miles:

Wasn't Doing Enough with the supposed level of Talent
Offense was underperforming
Lost 4 straight to Alabama
Wasn't winning hardware anymore

Those were the major reasons he was fired. O is facing his 4th test against Bama this year....and he can get to the playoff if that is his only loss.

AMEN!!!
Agreed. In real life, I don't think I've run into hardly anyone who talks about being "anti-O" at this point. It was a talking point the year he got the hire.

The negative, "anti-LSU" people that I've run across are the bandwagon Bama fans. They just hate LSU and root against them. Some have been Florida or Ole Miss, some were USC back in the day. Most know nothing about the teams they "root" for, they just hate LSU. You DO run into those people IRL.

Get their asses on that playstation and show all those dummies coaching in the sec and nfl how the "real" football geniuses do things. Then you can get ready for them to laugh right into your face.

I love how people downplay the UCF win. You can damn well better believe that had LSU lost that game this board would've had a complete nuclear meltdown. In another thread argued 8 pages to avoid giving Joe Burrow any recognition for improving over the course of the season but they're not wishing ill upon LSU oh no sir.

Of course it's downplayed. UCF with their backup QB is an okay Group of 5 team at best. LSU was without like 8 defenders and still only gave up 25 on defense. One more injury at corner and LSU was looking at walk-ons to play.

We took UGA by surprise and beat them by 20, and although Auburn was mediocre, beating them on the road like that was something we never do unless they are trash.

Outside that, we lost to 3 of the 4 best opponents on our schedule, and beat a 2-10 Arkansas team, that got blown out by North Texas, by 7 points. This was yet another typical LSU season with a surprise win, surprise upset, and 3+ losses.

and Miles would have had a better record over that same period of time. No doubt in my mind whatsoever.
Define significantly flawed? The fact that several linemen left or transferred out after 2016 as being Miles flaw, you’re full of shite.

Go back and look at the rosters because I’m not posting that shite again.
