WTF is an “ex LSU” player? It’s like being a Marine, once a Tiger always a Tiger (unless you’re kicked out) you’re a former LSU player.
Fair enough.

Damn, didn't realize christian faith made you a great athlete.

It’s okay if you’re not religious - I’m somewhat agnostic myself - but it’s absolutely a driving force in his life.
If he wasn’t talented and put in the work he wouldn’t be in the MLB or have that wife. Wouldn’t matter how religious he is

I don't believe in all that christiany stuff but if that's what it takes to score a fine piece of pussy like that, I could definitely pretend

Thumbs up for the nice post about Fraley, thumbs down for injecting religion into a sports board.
For every 10000 kids with strong christian faiths who work hard at baseball and want to play in the majors, probably only one or two make it. For all those who didn't get to the majors, did their faith fail them or did they just not pray as hard as they should?

Idiotic comment. What about the millions that have Christian faith but haven't achieved the same success?
Christian faith has nothing to do with worldly success.

I have a strong Christian faith and all I got is a fat wife and 2 ungrateful, disrespectful kids... wtf?

I am willing to bet his Christian faith was the last thing on his mind when he first met her.
I'd guess his first thoughts were the same religious terms as mine when I saw her for the first time just now.
"Jesus Christ! She's hot as hell!"

Yeah I would love to see those stats if you can show me.
But the OP is a little off on his perception of Faith working in our lives.
"If in this life only we have hope, we are of all men most miserable."
Doesn't matter what we have or don't have here. That's not the point of Faith.

My lasting memory of Jake Fraley was when I was eating at Fat Cow with friends and he and another lady ,not pictured above, were sucking face behind me at the counter top that faced towards the outdoor area. But gotta give it to him he could hit the seams off a ball and it seems its paid off.

What does his religion have to do with anything?

Of all of our great, highlight real center fielders, he was one of the best and definitely had by far the best instincts. He didn't make the highlight real catches like Landry, Stephenson and Watson did because he got such a good jump on the ball. He made balls that looked to be in the gap off the bat, look like routine catches.

Jake lookin like a skinnier Clay Matthews these days.
Happy for all his successes—both on and off the field.
