If it means we have less scholarships to offer at positions of true need, then yes it does hurt us.

if you are going to do this to the young most talented guys, don't bitch when Heard leaves. if you won't have patience while they develop then they won't have any patience either. So, don't bitch when Heard or Brown or even sampson leaves.

The timing of the melt is weird. How can you not completely trust BK and Frank along with the rest of the staff right now.

So that brings us to:

Aaron Anderson
Kyren Lacy
Chris Hilton
Shelton Sampson
Kyle Parker
Landon Ibieta
Khai Prean (moved to DB)
Zavion Thomas ('24 Transfer)

Whose spot do you all think he would take from the above?

Got moved to a DB position. Not sure if it’s permanent.

Because the staff knows that Lacy isn’t a dynamic WR1 gamechanger but the dipshits on this site think otherwise

You're right, the coaching staff obviously lacks the abililty to gauge a players skills and potential.

Obviously!
You nailed it.
How many quality WRs are on the team?
How many quality DBs, DTs, LBs?

I think that WR is going to thin out in the spring - Ibieta, Prean for starters.

Losing Hilton isn’t a big deal. He dropped the game winner vs ole Miss and then spent plenty of time hurt

Yall can say what you want, but I do not want to use another scholarship that isn't for a high profile DL or CB recruit.

Obviously it's better to have the best talent straight out of high school, but development is going to become a thing of the past

It will happen more along the lines of Heard, Brown, or Sampson when it does.

There's no sympathies for anyone involved anymore. There's no time for development. You're getting paid or you're not getting paid.

CFB is ruined as was prophesied. More of a passing interest like basketball has become. Why people will continue to invest all their time and money into those with no investment themselves is perplexing to me.

BTW, I'm not disagreeing with you, only adding my .02

Just long for the days of Forever LSU. Those stately oaks and broad magnolias.

If there is one thing our offensive staff can’t do it’s evaluate WRs. /s

I'm not sure this is a good idea... we added the Miss St kid that is a LA kid, ok... that's fine. but you start adding all these kids from the portal and you're gonna lose guys like Sampson or Hilton. I don't think this is wise as at all. let the young talent play... it helps in recruiting that we don't just grab players out of the portal and we got some talent in the WR room already... besides we have limited space and we need DT's like i need more bullets...

We need help in the WR room.

Who is our #1?

He was Nabors-lite with the ball in his hands late in the year. I don't have the actual stats, but he was likely #2 on the team (among WRs) in broken tackles.

it also probably cost us Jalen Brown.

If this guy was LSU starter material he would not have run from competition.

If it’s a transfer with the last name Daniels, he’s a take
