I just got this email from LSU from Vandy.
This paragraph was in the letter
What would be the purpose of going to this park if you can't drink, grill, park, or even set up tents?

There is also a nearby public park. Fannie Mae Dees Park is about a block east of Harris-Hillman. It provides an excellent picnic setting but alcoholic beverages and parking on the grass are prohibited. In addition, the erection of tents or other shelters, open grilling, disposal of charcoals, etc. without a permit are prohibited. Violators are subject to citations and/or arrest by Nashville police. Why not just "tailgate" in downtown Nashville? They have plenty of bars with great live music, air conditioning, alcohol, and food.
Plus you could watch all of the GREAT day games on HD plasma televisions while you do so.
I will never understand the obsession with doing all that work to grill substandard frozen burger patties, drink shitty beer from a keg, watch 1 game on a shitty rabbit-eared television, and stand around working up a good September sweat.

I was at the game in 2005 and 1997 there and we tailgated and drank our asses off. We no issues until we got into the stadium and spent 1/3 of the game in line to the bathrooms. There are not enough, even for that tiny stadium.

I know there will be places to drink and grill, I just think it's funny that this park was mentioned in the email. LSU is known for drinking and cooking, which are 2 things prohibited at the park.

I will be tailgating about 200 yards from the stadium..
