This season is over, LSU is going to a mid-tier bowl game which will hopefully be against Michigan, however, next year is the year.

LSU will be replacing Etling, Malone, Guice, Williams, Chalk, Weathersby, Key, LaCouture, Paris, Thompson, Alexander, Herron, Gilmore, and possibly Toliver.

The defense should again be among the top 25 in the nation, the offense may be around 50 as LSU still has talent. Curious to see what Canada and Aranda can do with these units in years 2 and 3.

Opening against Miami will be huge as if LSU wins out they have a chance to be near the top 10 and Miami will be in the top 10.

LSU wasted this season with 5 SEC opponents firing their coaches and Alabama not being as strong up front as they have been.

LSU blew an opportunity with this weak SEC.

LSU may improve but so will the other teams.

LSU may gain a major benefit on the recruiting trail with those firings to head into 2018.

Losing to Troy is the worst loss since UAB....Getting trounced by State is really bad as well. At least getting trounced by Auburn looks better because State is fricking State....

Next year LSU should be 10-2 going into the bowl game

Do you know for sure Weatherby is leaving early?
Paris might get a medical RS
Jackson is going to leave early before Toliver
i don’t think Toliver is going to get a draft grade he likes

Next year, 4 teams that we play will have a new coaching staff (five if somebody hires Mullin away from Miss St). The other 3 SEC games will be tough (bama, auburn, georgia).

Next year’s schedule is even harder, even with Bama at home.

Miami in Dallas
Auburn on the road
Florida on the road (again) with a new coach
Georgia at home

The goal, for me at least, is just like this year. 10-2, NY6.

What are you talking about? How did LSU "waste" anything. Is what the fault of LSU? That is a silly statement. LSU played its schedule. The relative strength of the opponents is out of LSU's control.

How? How many of the teams changing coaches did LSU play? What is the current result? What opportunity was blown?

Doesn't just about every body just about every year?

There is no way to slice it. Next year first half of schedule is going to be brutle. A lot of growing pains will be experienced early.
Team has to fight ever single weekend like hell and not take anything off. Not only to win games but to develop and get quality reps. Myles will have to grow up each game. I? wont expect a messiah the first 3 games. But after mid way through the schedule I? expect someone that has maturity and toughness that can carry us in the future. If this doesn’t happen it is going to be a long and miserable season.

Every single one of your posts about LSU read like Baghdad Bob talking about Saddam. Take a hike, old man.

We lost both games to State and Troy only because we were less than full strength. Then as soon as we returned back to full strength again we beat three straight SEC teams including a good Auburn team that destroyed Georgia yesterday.

Meanwhile, the only game we loss at full strength was to Bama, but we beat them every which way but on the score board. In addition, we beat them up pretty good for Mississippi State.

Thus, currently we are underrated. We are actually better than a lot of the teams ranked ahead of us.

We lost because they were better on those days, no excuses

We are not underrated because we have basically no passing game again.

I'd say so. LSU always has an offensive tackle that should stay another year, leaves early, and amounts to nothing in the NFL.

I didn't make the accusations.

Regarding the teams changing coaches:
1. Florida fired coach.....LSU win
2. Ole Miss fire coach...LSU win
3. Arkansas probable fire...LSU win
4. Tennessee fired coach....to be played..LSU favored
5. aTm probable fired coach...to be played LSU likely favored.

Now show me the waste...

And Boat..the old man burn is so 7th grade. I expect more from you. Not much more but a little. Try harder.
