+1. Best RANT take of the weekend. WE all know it's very tough to win at Kyle field these days. We have to battle both the formidable athletes on the field and the refs. The 7 OT game in 2018 taught us that. Just more of the same in 2022.

BTW: I don't think AtM got called for holding the ENTIRE game until they got 3 TD lead late in the game. Then the refs were flag happy to make it look respectable.

Is what it is as they say. Props on the anaylsis. That was sweet. It's my birthday. That was a great gift. Couldn't have said it better.

"It's All Real To Me, Dammit!!"

Sorry, but that's not incompetence. Also, in less than a month, a bearded man with a sack of toys really isn't going to sneak in your house and deliver gifts. Just an FYI....

the SEC didn't benefit from LSU losing that game. IF anything, they would want LSU to win.

Obviously not.

We have seen what the SEC is capable of when they want certain teams to win. Hell, we watched a 2009 ENTIRE SEASON where both Bama and UF got mysterious call after call week after week to set up an epic 2009 SECCG of unbeatens.

If the SEC wanted LSU to win, aTm would have been at least called for holding. The PI wouldn't have been picked up, the phantom hold wouldn't have been called, and the TD for LSU would have stood.

On a side note: I'm going to laugh my arse off when Bama is in the picture again after next weekend.

I couldn't help but notice the how a 2-loss Bama could still "sneak in there!!", but when LSU was moving up in the polls, the narrative was, point blank, "LSU will have to win out AND beat UGA to get in with 2 losses".

LSU didn’t looked “locked in”. Dropped passes was one sign. Poor tackling another.

Correct. LSU also couldn't contain the edge on defense, and House failed to adjust to what was basically a Tecmo Bowl playbook for aTm.

Again, this OP doesn't state LSU would have won the game. I'm just pointing out the obvious frickery. Blatantly taking a way one team's opportunity to score THREE times in a game is quite obvious, at least to me.

Oh? You obviously haven't been watching SEC football very long. Back then ole Bug Eyes was calling our games with Bama and Auburn we got hosed regularly.

Those calls were awful. It just seems that the officiating impacts LSU during crucial times, but the flags they throw on A&M get picked up or it doesn't really matter.

This, however, does not negate the fact that our defense was abused by the A&M running game, Daniels is a below average passer, and our coaching staff clearly did not have this team ready to go.

or the refs were just bad.

The SEC gained nothing by a A&M win over a team with playoff hopes. This is just stupid. How did the refs give Achane 200 yards rushing?

They went to replay and still denied what we saw on replay was real. That's not "bad". That's corruption. Sorry.

I've repeated multiple times here that LSU didn't play a great game on top of everything else. I can also counter this obvious LSU frick up by asking why aTm wasn't called for holding all game. It was VERY obvious to me that they held quite often during the game. Even tackled defenders. They were NEVER called for holding while getting a season-high in rushing yards. Yet, on one of LSU's biggest plays to take momentum back after the fumble 6, LSU is called for a "hold".

If that was holding by LSU, aTm should have had at least 3-5 holding calls during the game. They didn't. Thus another point of my OP.

The SEC now has Bama back in the playoff talk. The SEC is run by Bama alum. The SEC doesn't give two shits about the SECCG having a three loss team when they already know UGA is in the playoff no matter what. LSU not making the playoff now doesn't mean shite to this conference.
