No more of an idiot than Miles and his coaching philosophy. Did you listen to his answer to Moscona today in the press conference? Did you hear him say there is no need to change his philosophy when it comes to playing Bama? That is the definition of idiocy.

So you think Texas should have kept Brown? Maybe Tenn. should still have Fulmer today?

LSU will always have talent because of the in state talent pool. The greatest lie ever told on this board.

Explain how this is a lie?

I sure as hell would. He also beat Miles if I remember correctly. Ole Miss isn't close to LSU's talent and they beat em.

The talent discrepancy between Ole Miss and LSU is smaller than the gap between LSU and Alabama.

Was Brown 7-1 and in the hunt for the playoffs when he was fired?

Anyone who says otherwise is being silly.

So I guess that Miles had no luck with 2 losses and having 5 teams that were ahead of them loose to get into the national title?

And I don't remember a lack of offense being the reason we lost those 2 games in 2007 either. Do you want to compare how difficult it is to get to the NC out of the ACC compared to the SEC West?

It is true..if you are a good recruiter..and work with the hs coaches to develop relationships ..the talent pool and the lack of a in-state competition is the reason Saban left Michigan state to come to LSU..hell it is the reason such a mediocre coach has had such a great experience at LSU

Do you remember Charles Scott going off for 80+ yards in the first half and getting maybe 2 carries in the second half?

I like how you cut off Miles tenure. Only 1 program in the sec has been consistent than Miles and it's bama.

You're fricking stupid if you think Miles is a mediocre coach.

When the rankings come out Tuesday and we're ranked 7th or 8th, I think people will be a lot more positive on here.

We can still win a championship this season. Just need to win and get a little help.

Don't bring facts into a discussion about Miles.

So you weren't around during the 90's when all the instate talent left? Kevin Faulk is beloved because he stayed instate. Before Dinard got here every decent player left the state.

There was literally no reason to bring Preveto back. Steele was a multi-time failure as a DC and a position coach, yet Les hired him to replace Chavis.

I suppose the Preveto hire was a bad move with the poor play of the special teams units this year, but I'm under the impression that he's a solid recruiter. So, if he is, perhaps that's why Miles hired him back.

As far as Steele is concerned, I think he should be given a chance to prove himself as a DC. It's not his fault that Chavis didn't give a hoot about recruiting. He's playing the hand he was dealt.

I personally think it's too early to give up on this team and coaching staff, but that's just my opinion.

Why would you pick the last 8 years? Is it because it fits your narrative that Auburn is better than LSU? I ask because I disagree with you.

Dabo hasn't even sniffed a NC game and Jimbo lucked out that he didn't have to face Bama after the Auburn's back to back miracles knocked the Tide out in 2013
miles won his with 2 loses, but jimbo is lucky with an undefeated NC? i would love these 2 over miles at lsu

That's the exact mentality that will prevent us from ever being as great as bama. We hope to win, they expect to win.

Seriously. How much winning did they do for about 10 years before Saban fell into their lap. No matter how badly "they expected" to win- they had some bad seasons. Why? Because they made poor coaching hires. Heck, one guy got fired before he ever coached a game there. Expect to win. Since the planets aligned and they got lucky with the hire. That's it.
