We just won the toilet bowl series in the SEC. That’s it. Next week LSU will go back to getting swept by a real SEC team.

Definitely very happy to get two wins in a row with how things have been. But obviously this doesn’t mean much in post season hopes. But nothing wrong with being happy.

If we can take 4 of the next 7 games, I will be thrilled. Just glad to see some of the young guys playing well and gaining experience

I actually like the team better with these young players playing. Defense looks improved and now the team isn’t just swinging for the fences

Not sure how much baseball some of you played but today was a big confidence booster. Paz pitching as well as he did and the bats playing small ball and coming through in clutch moments can easily change the direction of the season. Next week at Georgia will tell the tale but win tomorrow with a full bullpen, hope Evans is back for game 1 in Athens and we can make a run.

To the downvoters, I would agree with the OP if it was just a slump buster or mediocre play all season. And I’m obviously happy for the wins. But to say this is the “right time” to get hot is stupid in the current context. The right time to get hot would have been prior to the trifecta of sweeps.
