Let's get one thing straight about LSU/Bama

With the new CFP format, losing to Bama cannot and will not ever knock us out of making the final 4 by itself. In 2014 the losses to MSU, Aub, and Ark were what did us in. We win those, the Bama game wouldn't have mattered.
You want proof? As of last week, MSU's only loss was to Bama and they were ranked #4 by the committee. If they'd beaten that school with the girly-men fan base on Saturday, they'd be a lock for the top-4.
So, yes we outplayed Bama this year and yes they did get some help to beat us. But they don't have the ability to keep us out of the CFP in 2015 - win the other 11 and we're in.

You guys are as good as anybody even this season. You could have potentially beaten any team you played this season. I expect LSU to be the class of the SEC West next season.

What can you say... the QB play can only improve next season. The rest of the picture for the Tigers has been solid. Still the same RB's, o-line, d-line, secondary play. In the Iron Bowl at no time did I feel like out defense was worn out but different story in Baton Rouge. I think that game was just as physical (if not more) than the 2012 and 2011 games. Our guys kept saying how they felt like they had been mauled by a Mack Truck after this last game.

People seem to forget the committee said "heavily favor conference champions", yet there are NONE at this point in the season. That is why starting the play-off poll at this point in the season is a complete joke.

I agree we should be a lot better next year. How good exactly depends on who leaves early.

No they wouldn't have. They would likely have been passed up by another 1 loss team.

2016 maybe, but 2015 will resemble this season an awful lot.... unfortunately... OL will end up being a backbreaker for us i'm afraid...

Doesn't matter. The committee would not have allowed 2 SEC teams in the final four. Maybe possible if more 2 loss teams in the top 10, but definitely not this year with the never ending Ohio State fellatio.

This is a very twisted and weak way of also saying that Alabama will never miss the playoffs by beating us either.....and you've accepted it as a perpetual, foregone conclusion. Do you know what you are saying here?

Mississippi State would not have made it this year over a TCU 1 loss conference champion. You are fooling yourself if you think they were a lock. They probably don't even make it over a 1 loss Ohio State conference champion. The committee knew they didn't have to put all teams there until final week. That's why they kept bama out for a period of time.
Also, the wins for Miss State over LSU/Auburn/Texas A&M not looking so great at end of season.
