If he took the ole miss job it would absolutely settle the can he coach debate. I would love for him to take it. I think some of those that supported him for so long are afraid that he may.

If he's successful at Ole Miss with a completely depleted roster and a team that can't go to bowl games we all deserve to be miserable. The chances of that happening though are extremely low.

He's not going because they aren't going to hire him. People just need something to talk about and write about.

Lmao. Nobody is afraid dude. Almost all of us are happy he's gone. You can't run his style with a team that doesn't get superior talent cuz your not gonna be able to our muscle, out size everyone of the smaller teams. You gotta play essentially baseball version of small ball which is why freeze was successful this season.

I'm not so sure Saban could succeed their with all the crap that program is and is about to suffer. Good luck OM!

I think if Les took the Ole Miss job he wouldnt bring his offense with him. I really think he would go with the attitude that he's going to throw and throw a lot to prove something. What does he have to lose with a decimated sanctioned team?

He would be a good interim coach. He has an honest reputation. Nobody expects much from him. He could recruit well until a more modern thinking coach takes over after sanctions have been lifted.

I think he'd do just as good as anybody else there.

How? Ole Miss is getting ready to be fricked with a strap-on chainsaw.

Any coach is going to have a rough three years.

No chance he ends up there.

But I wonder if he would win more than three conference games in three years even with sanctions.

Les Miles did well at Oklahoma State beating big programs. I think any coach, however, will have a hard time winning in the near future at Ole Miss.

The big concern for LSU fans should be how many relationships Miles has with La high school coaches and how well he recruits. Miles was in La for a very long time, much longer than Saban. He is popular with a lot of high school coaches and players seem to like him.

I would rather LSU not have to recruit against Miles at Ole Miss.

Right now, I wouldn't be worried about recruiting if Saban or Meyer took the Ole Miss job. As another poster said, that program is about to take it up the arse with a chainsaw.

Miles at Ole Miss would make Orgeron look like Saban.

Miles could win 3 conference games in 3 seasons at Ole Miss with his eyes closed. Orgeron....well........
