I can think of only 1 "possible" scenario where they don't get in:
Ohio State or Michigan win out, USC wins out, and TCU wins out. Georgia gets slight nod over LSU. Otherwise both Georgia and LSU get in. I've not heard any real discussion about Georgia getting left out. Seems to me there should be some narrative going around that winner of LSU vs GEORGIA championship game gets in along w other conference champions. Would love to see Ohio State/Michigan, TCU, USC, and LSU. That works for me. Would be a great CFP with all 4 teams deserving. What's the rant think? SIAP.

BTW: LSU has been playing for playoff life the past 5 weeks. Their mindset is good. I like our chances. Other teams are feeling the heat based on all the close games this past weekend.

Well since Ohio St and Michigan are playing next Saturday, one won’t win out.

Trolls will be trolls. You can't fix stupid. I don't even try anymore. At least there were no grammar mistakes or type-o's. +1 BTW.

Playoff Committee will Value the SEC Championship, and beating the #1 team who won it all last year and hasn’t lost a game since. I think LSU is in no matter what. Committee wouldn’t have a choice. otherwise, IMO why play for conference championships if they don’t matter?

This easily. UGA’s biggest win by far on the year just got 70 hung on them by USCe. If UGA loses to LSU they are out unless USC and Clemson lose a game.

At the very least if LSU can find a way to beat Georgia handedly when they will be ranked #2 because we all know if Ohio State beats Michigan they are going to be ranked #1. Then LSU has to be ranked ahead of them if they beat them. I have never seen in my life where a 6th ranked team beats a 2nd ranked team and the 2nd ranked teams stays ahead of them regardless that they just loss. But maybe not maybe I’m wrong a the committee says well LSU just beat them by 17 pts but what the hell let’s still rank them below them. I say hopefully we get fired up beat A&M and then make a statement and leave no doubt an somehow beat Georgia like a drum like SC just did Tennessee

i’d love to think you are right, but don’t have near as much faith in the committee as you seem to.

Georgia in even if LSU beats them. LSU needs TCU or USC to lose a game.

I could definitely see UGA being left out if they lose. 4 conference champions would be ideal for the committee

Another problem that MIGHT arise...Michigan narrowly beats Ohio State. So you have

1. Michigan 13-0
2. TCU 13-0
3. SoCal 12-1
4. Ohio State 12-1

Most of America's dream...no SEC team in the CFP.

LSU did not beat Alabama in the SECCG. Even in that case, LSU was still in the title game. There has never been an instance in the CFP where the loser of a CG made the playoffs but the winner did not.
