He’s not going to put one of his aces on short rest in the Supers. He’s going to throw Anderson. Throwing both in Hoover to “Stay Flexible” was BS.
It wasnt BS. We could end up with one of the Sat/ Sun/ Mon supers and get an extra day of rest. Jay didnt know what the schedule would be, so that decision absolutely lends itself to more flexibility.
Just another reason why hes the coach and youre on a message board.

You can't start AE or Andy
With the way our offense has performed for the last 6-8 weeks you can’t afford not to.

This game doesn’t mean anything if we don’t win the regional

don’t overthink it.
Strategically setting up your starting pitchers in a regional format is not overthinking

Paul had some pretty soft shitty lineups.

Noot, bring in shores. Game 2 Anderson. Eyason for the regional

So obvious, it hurts

You never chance losing your first game by throwing your 3-4 pitcher. Never chance it.

KA is throwing Friday.
If we were hitting better maybe make a change.

But this game makes winning the regional much easier. Soooo….

Didn’t we go through this with Skenes/Tulane? Jay seems to keep his rotation the same.

Schmidt is 7-0 this year
But yeah, his control just isn't there yet.

Sure it does. And you can make your path more advantageous based on your pitching decisions in it as well.

Good thing is dbu hasn’t seen Anderson or eyanson

Anderson. Losing without throwing him would not be explainable.

If it is KA- hopefully it is just for a few innings and he has the possibility of coming back in an “if” game.

Doesn’t matter their rag arm starter gonna hold us to 1-2 runs!!

But seriously this will happen.
Evans or Noot. Have Eyanson loose in case its one of those games we go 7 inning without a hit.
