I would bet Kade to keep him on schedule for Game 1 of a Super.
This......Kade can throw 150 pitches in 2 days if you let him.....
pitching isnt the issue with this team...we all know the elephant in the room is at the plate.......I hope they are in the batting cage right the frick now!!

Assuming this is a FRI-SAT-SUN regional
I think this is a safe assumption considering they’re all fri-Sunday

As everyone should know baseball is a crazy sport. You never chance losing your first game by throwing your 3-4 pitcher. Stay in winners bracket with your best. Never chance it.

Anyone except our aces, hopefully.
Jay has already shown he will start one of his Aces to get into the winners bracket.
2023 was the year to start off because our offense was actually ELITE and could’ve made due against Tulane. But he elected to throw Skenes all 9 innings. Look for a similar scenario with either Anthony or Anderson.

You’re not the coach! Watch the games and be glad LSU is at home u til Omaha….

Jay said after the a&m game in hoover that he threw Anderson and Eyanson to give us flexibility this weekend. Im assuming that means he will look at matchups with who we play and decide from there.
But it will be one of those 2 guys.

If Jay threw Skenes against Tulane, he will throw Eyanson or Anderson against Little Rock. He leaves nothing to chance. I think he believes in Noot, Shores, and Mayers in game 3 should we go 2-0.

I like Evans game 1

Skenes was all about the process and routine. They put a tone of weight on keeping him in the routine and scheduled. I am not sure the Skene’s situation applies no matter what.

No justifiable reason to start Anderson IMO.
Not to look ahead, but keeping everyone on their regular schedule for the following week is a reason.

He's a robot...he's vv resilient......if they would let him bat I would bet he'd have more hits and homeruns than Braswell

Jay will overthink it like he did w/ Skenes vs Tulane and pitch Kade Anderson.

If ever there was a time to throw off, this is it.
Correct. I know Jay's history, but I really don't think LSU throws their ace here.

I would assume Jay starts by looking at DBU and decides if they are worse against LHP or RHP. If DBU matches up better against RHP, then AE will go Friday or vice versa.

Yet LSU did it for 38 years under Skip and Paul and did just fine. lol
