But he'd still be losing.

They can shoot me and bury me now. Les Miles was a better loser than O. Sunshine-pumping has been "re-purposed".

If less miles lost as many players like we did in one season. He would be in the same situation.

Les Miles started the "holy shite we lost a lot of guys" tradition at LSU, bubba

He won 3 SEC games

how many more do you see in our future this year?

Bama?
@Arkansas?
@TAMU?
Ole Miss?
@UF?

a realistic best case is 2 more SEC wins, and that's best case. i don't see how the hell our D doesn't let Ole Miss name the score

We aren't winning another game unless our offense is capable of not punting again this season, honestly.

All of those teams listed will put up 50 points. Even crappy ARK with Fillipe Franks at QB. That will be that kid's career game.

Joe burrow never would have came to play in a Les Miles offense either

Ehhh. Not so fast. The greatest mystery of all time is how O convinced Joe to play for us with Ensmingers antiquated offense. The allure of starting in the SEC was apparently enough. 2019 never happens without Brady. Not even close. We’d just still be talking about wasted talent and how O was Miles 2.0 cause O would be losing 2-3 games a year with no championships.

We would not be better off with Miles.
We would not have won 10 games in 2018 or won a title in 2019.
Please stop.

O has created a mess and will own the worst season record in 20+ years but the bleeding would be worse had Miles remained.

The only question is whether O can fix this dumpster fire.

Boys. Boys. Miles was an average coach who recruited greatly and had some good assistants and some poor ones. Every 3-5 years, it’d all come together and we’d have a really nice season. The rest was was ok to mediocre.

Fast forward to O. Same thing. Same questionable coaching hires on occasion. Same up and downs. Never consistently elite. We got what we paid for in replacing Miles.

Neither would Charley McClendon. As terrible as some of his offences were, he could always coach defense.

By the way, I have been following Mile's career at Kansas. If you want him back, I have a feeling he may be available soon.

That Auburn team finished 8-5. Let’s not pretend they were a top 5 team because they were ranked that way to start the season. Did State beat a top 5 LSU team this year?

Les has gone full circle in the eyes of LSU fans. He was loved then he was hated and now he is loved again.

Ideally I would not want it this way but if you would have told me prior to 2019 season “you would have the best team in the history of the sport but 2020 is going to be terrible“ I would have paid a whole lot of money for that deal.
