I love our fans. We just hired a coach that failed miserably at ole Miss.
I cant downvote your dumbazz enough. Turn your tickets in and stay away from TS.
Isnt that what y'all used to tell the Nega-Tigers who were railing Miles?

Ed Orgeron is the LSU head football coach. Why not give him a season or two in that role before all of you playground football heroes chime in?
Pigs must be circling over my house cuz I enthusiastically agree with your grumpy ol azz!

should it come together, we will have swapped coaches with Ole Miss...basically swapped the winningest coach in LSU's history for the losingest coach in Ole Miss' history.
Wouldn't that be some shite?

Says someone who bashed the previous coach to no end and still does, but bash the current coach, "turn in your tickets and stay away"

Keynote Speaker?!?!?!?! You got to give it to Les. Dude makes millions doing stuff he ain't so good at!

Funny that people really think that. The dude is actually a great speaker. Easy to tell which fans only believe what is said on here vs those who go to actual events with the athletic department.

You're right sorry....cuz Miles never did ANYTHING to deserve criticism did he? Never....right? And the criticism was always before he did his thing right?

I've heard him speak many times...sometimes he was lucid and then there was the other 80% of the time.

That's fun and all but you don't want Les at Ole Miss or anywhere in the SEC
His time was up here at LSU but I do not want to face him annually
This. And its not because of anything on the field. He was a great recruiter, still has a big name in LA. Then would have a talent loaded state in MS. We'd be recruiting against Les and Saban in our own state and in MS. It would make O's job that much harder.

Do you really think Miles could steal a lot of quality players from LA given where he's asking them to come and also with said players knowing what they would surely know about Les and his stagnant offense and stubbornness and the firing from LSU?
I mean I'cant believe the great players here would follow him to OL Miss.

Maybe some guys who would get early playing time, definitely some guys from Mississippi, even south mississippi. Are you saying Les wasnt a great recruiter?
Maybe it wouldnt be a lot, but it would be some. A lot of recruiting is establishing relationships with high school coaches. Les already has that all over the state. And has already been recruiting current high schoolers. He'd have the same advantage Saban had. It would hurt us for sure. Same story if they hire somebody like Frank Wilson with LA ties.
Id love to see Miles coach again, but not in the conference or anywhere near LSU. I want to see him in big 12 or big 10.

yes, Les was a great recruiter. A lot of the credit goes to him.
But a BIG draw for a lot of those recruits, especially Louisiana kids, is LSU itself. And many, many elite football schools are like that.
Some kids just want to go to Ohio State, or FSU, or Notre Dame, etc. and have had that in their blood since they were kids. Yes, a great recruiter can help lock down their home state players, and also go get some players from outside the state, but in many cases, the main draw, at least for in-state kids, is the school itself.

Les would be able to recruit in Louisiana. His offense had no problems pulling in quality players. He also has never had a problem hiring quality assistants.

LSU recruits itself to a point. But those of us who were around in the late 80's early 90's dont take it for granted. We lost insane amounts of talent to out of state schools because of our HCs. Les underachieved with the talent he had, but he did have a ton of talent. He was a victim of his own success. (And his stubborn ways)

We're talking about recruiting....and I simply don't think that Miles could come in here....from Ol Miss....and steal our quality players like Saban does.
IS OM not a dumpster fire at this point?

Depends on what sanctions get brought down on the school

This. LSU will have a coach Ole Miss fired, while Ole Miss will have the one LSU fired. Sorta sick and twisted.

As much as we make fun of les. Les is a class act, there is absolutely no way in frickin hell he would take a job at one of lsu's rivals. He just wouldn't do it. He loves lsu man. He loves louisiana. He just wouldn't do it. He's too classy of a guy to do that. You can book that shite.
