we should help cu pay for him

If you look at the rest of the article, it is rather dismissive of Miles' chances of coming. This is simply something that got blown out of proportion. There may be one or two assistant coach changes after the bowl game and that will be it.

IF Colorado had gone Big 10 instead of PAC 10 so Miles would get to haunt his old stomping grounds AND if they could put together a deal where the guaranteed amount (ie: years x annual $ figure) would be more than his current buy out at LSU, maybe.
But as things stand, I would think its a veerryy long shot.

CU has had enough of the "Zen Master."

somehow, someway, Miles will get the last laugh at LSU fans.
I'm confident in that, and unfortunately I'm not looking forward to the time period where we will all - as LSU fans - suffer in the end.
This. Write it in STONE.
Say what you want about Cholly Mac but his firing and the crash of Bo Reign's Plane doomed us to 20 years of SUCKriocity.

Truthfully, if you subscribe to the "Miles isn't SEC caliber" theory, this makes some sense. Can he make over 3.5 in Boulder? No, but surely he pulls down more than Dan Hawkins, plays in a far "easier" (as evidenced by his own disparaging comments about the PAC 10) conference and gets the kind of multi-year security he no longer has in BR.
Makes sense to me.
