I know Les Miles was an economics major. That's cool. He went to a football school, so I am sure Les was hitting the books all the time

Les failed to properly manage one sport, and you'd like him to oversee 19 of them with a 100 million dollar budget. Got it.

Les went to the University of Michigan, right? Michigan is a "football school". Yes, it has academic prestige, but that's hilarious you think their football players were hitting the books in the 80s.

Also wasn't les miles cited for asking to spike the ball with one second on the clock? countless time management blunders? making the best man in his wedding the highest paid assistant in the country? Sounds like someone I wouldn't trust to manage a 100+ million dollar budget.

LSU is far better since Saban left. Does that discount what he did in Baton Rouge and how important he was to the success LSU rose to after he left?

I shouldn't ever doubt the stupidity of our fan base that helped get O the job and think Skip Bertman was a great athletic director. Let's not even get started how they think Les should run our entire athletic department after being terminated for mismanaging just one of the programs

it's insane.

The complain about hiring stupid pile and then cheer for the stupidest they can find

No - buyouts ate really income guarantees. But at least we'd be paying him to work instead of paying him to not work. Plus he's funny and entertaining, so he'd be a good draw at fundraising events.

Point is...you would be paying les what you already pay him, but you would not have to pay alleva anymore. So youd only save like $800k a year.

I think Les hiring our next HC is a great idea. After all, he did:

Hire Gary Crowton
Hire Stud (and promote him)
Hire Cam Cameron
Hire Kevin Steele
Hire Billy Gonzalez
Hire DC McCarty
Hire Bradley Dale Peveto (twice, and promote him too)
Create Malveto

I say get the BBQ crew back together and get the rub going on that brisket.
