Liggins got eligible. He's running first team...at left guard replacing Collins and Dworaczyk. But he'll be the first offensive lineman in football history to take snaps at QB specifically to run the short side option.

How about this explanation: practices are almost always closed. Les does this every year. I was surprised we had more than two open practices.

Serious answer to original posted question. Go to the coach Stud portion of the media blitz on Tuesday and look at the smartass statement and question uttered by none other than Buddy "Sausage Boy" Songy at the 22:20 mark for your reason. FTR, Stud's facial expressions during his diatribe were priceless.
