Just hope he avoids the dumpster fires of Cleveland and San Fran! Jax and Jets are smoldering fires that could burn out of control. Sad to say but Panthers or Broncos (won't last that long) best fit

You are everything wrong with our trailer park fan base.

Yeah that guy is awesome. Doomsday if Fournette ends up in Carolina though.

His analysis was pretty much spot on. In strengths and weaknesses. Where ever he goes, I wish him the best.

Good video, I like the comparison of Earl Campbell

Dude first off suck my dick, and secondly it was a fricking wish. Who wouldn't want to watch Fournette play for the saints? GKY

I just hope whoever drafts him has cool jerseys because I'm getting one

bully his way through the toughest conference in college football for the last three seasons (Alabama not included, of course).
Except Bama???
OK... EVERY NFL defense is better than Bama's.... And yes The O-LINE he goes to will be better than any he had at LSU, I see him as just another decent player...
Jeremy Hill is on par with LF as far as A RB goes... He is A decent NFL back.....

This isn't just directed to our idiot fans that try to compare LF to current or past LSU RBs, but to anyone that tries to minimize just how great he is...then you are a special kind of dumb arse. LF is the greatest Tiger ever and it's doubtful we'll ever see another like him. It will be years before CFB ever sees this kind of talent again. I think he's the best RB in the NFL the day he gets drafted, period!

They'll have a field day regardless. They're obsessed

Great description.
Much love and respect to LF.

NFL.com scout Lance Zerlein nailed it IMO
Strengths
Full-on, grown man with outstanding definition throughout his body. Built like a linebacker with speed like a receiver. Long, powerful strides get speedy turnover. Click and go runner who hits his second gear faster than most big backs you'll ever see. Able to accelerate and scream around the corner for chunk runs against linebackers lacking speed or urgency to the edge. Powerful hips and thighs shake defenders right off. Tacklers better bring full force and technique. Always the hammer and never the nail. Violent finisher looking to intimidate run-support safeties with crushing blows behind lower pads. Runs feet through any and all contact. Has balance and power to plow through tackle attempts on an angle. Punishing stiff arms go viral. Has experience running from two-back, single-back and off-set looks. Hands are adequate in passing game. Can create for himself with power and speed. Wins in short-yardage and goal-line situations.
Weaknesses
Doesn't make many defenders miss with open field shake. Aggressive, take-on style could lead to shortened career. Struggles to elude sudden traffic at line of scrimmage. Lacks looseness of hips to jump-cut from gap to gap. Struggled with a bad ankle for most of the season. Plays through a straw. Excitable runner in need of more patience. Too quick to hit the accelerator and slam into defenders when there are still cuts and yards left in the play. Runs to obvious daylight but needs to learn to anticipate and finesse the crease in traffic. Doesn't see cutback lanes developing as outside zone runner and prefers to keep runs play-side. Throws half-hearted, grazing shoulder as chip blocker. Pass protection and routes need extensive work.

Damn that stat about his speed versus all NFL players the last two seasons is just ridiculous.

While both run extremely hard, Fournette is almost the antithesis of Guice. Fournette has great speed and power, but lacks great balance and vision.
Just dumb words.

I wouldn't want my team to get rid of a productive player currently under contract and trade away draft picks for a position that isn't a need when we already have massive holes on defense.
Posted on 2/10/17 at 12:58 pm to Choupique19
the guy said many times Fournette much like AP benefits more from a fullback than without one.

quote:That's not true at all! You probably got this from watching his struggles against Alabama of course, but the thing is Alabama or Nick Saban I should say knew exactly how to play against LF because of Les Miles and his tendency to just feed LF the ball no matter how loaded the box may be. Miles as it is well known by now will stubbornly think that he can blow anyone off the line of scrimmage and never attempt to adjust even if it's Alabama. Saban just knew this and just had his teams always prepared for this. LF would get the ball and try to locate holes in the defense, but there never was any openings as Alabama DLinemen manhandled LSU Olinemen at the point of attack pushing them backwards in most cases, and the LB'ers and DB's would just locate LF and gang tackle the shite out of him. But LF's problem against Alabama was "patience" because some holes albeit not many holes would develop sometimes if he waited just a few seconds. He could have gashed them had he let the blocking develop a lil bit, but for the most part it was just an impossible thing for him to run on Bama when they knew how to play him.
Fournette will probably struggle some because he lacks great vision.
he'll be alright in the pros as he won't have that problem and will be able to just quickly find the hole and get through it and get down field like he did in college most of the time.

The defense needs to be addressed outside of the draft too.
