Oh noes not the governor!

Guess who doesn't want Houston in the Big 12? The governor of OK, the governor of KS, the governor of Iowa, the governor of WV

We are all in for Herman, but Fisher is it if we don't land him.

Can we be honest?

Our state and Baton Rouge are hell holes. Crime. Budget.

Our AD and president and governor are known idiots.

We have a bunch of overhyped players.

Our fans will turn on a new coach the first time he loses a game he "should not"

We need to rebuild. We are not a good team.

We play in the toughest division in football.

We are not getting a top line coach. We will get a mid major coach looking to move. Houston is going to Big XII soon. Herman is not coming.

NDSU HC, he is a winner

If Klieman can convince kids to play in North Dakota, he is a good recruiter

Politics in Texas are different today. If they expand Houston is getting in. Losing A&M has hurt the market, adding Houston fixes that.

LSU football should always be built around defense.

They very much still have a large presence in the Houston market. Adding Houston would literally be the worst thing to happen to every team in that conference.

Texas isn't going to let them in. Why would houston being in help Texas? most Texas politicians are probably UT grads. They are going to stop this nonsense.

Also not uncommon for players to be kicked when a new coach comes in. I bet the new coach will have to kick a few of les Miles players off.

Yes, but it is very uncommon for 21 players to be bounced for discipline reasons. The Louisville administration at that time talked about it. This wasn't a case of just some of the players not working out with the new staff.

It's just that if you spend a ton of money, you would like to feel as positive about your choice as possible and given Petrino's track record, it would be very hard to feel like that with him. It's ashame because he is gifted at what he does.

frick it! Fire miles today, make O interim then we have the rest of the season to make the right decision on HC or keep O in the job and replace all of the offensive staff if O turns us around.

The only people making noise about UH getting an invite are Politicians posturing for votes and some Houston folks are trying to keep Texas from opening up a Houston campus.

Neither of those reasons are going to cause the Big 12 to invite UH and handicap every other team in the conference.
