Mett will not start.

He came in because Lee was taken out as a precaution after coming up with a limp.

There was nothing Mett did the rest of the game that Lee was incapable of. . .

I went to the game, and that was my observation. Lee was on fire.

The only player that pissed me off in that game was Ware and his turnstile technique of blitz pickup.

I think Lee played well but think this QB situation should be fluid, for this season.

I disagree

Agree with this though. But we need to see if Mett is better against SEC comp. He needs to get a little P.T. How do we know we don't have P. Manning sitting on the bench? This kid obviously is at another level talent wise.

Mett stepped up in the pocket and did not back peddle once...Lee is seemingly incapable of both these things. no?

I think everyone knows this. If they don't, they are stupid. Lee wasn't ready as a RS FR in 08. JR wasn't ready as a RS FR in 04 and Mett is not ready as a Soph in 11 (Spent a year in JUCO which is what he went against tonight)

Lee played great, but I'm not sure Mett's velocity won't prove to be a necessary advantage later

Lee sucks, Mett showed everyone on 11 pass attempts against NSU that he will win the Heisman and win 3 BCSCGs for LSU.

So Lee is all world QB based on 10 pass attempts against NSU?

Kinda agree. Its more like Mett did things that Lee doesn't do but could...

Yep. And I honestly can't see why anyone would disagree.

If Lee had ANY semblance of adequate footwork, he'd get good velocity.

But velocity is not a necessary tool in a QB's box.

Mett has a better arm and he looked extremely poised for this being his first game. That being said JL is our QB and will be our starter until either JJ comes back or he gets injured.

I do feel a little better though if JL does get injured. I was very impressed with Metts poise and how he ran the offense. He looks like a natural.

Zero to 160 in 6 seconds?

Awesome. You're not worth my time.
