Question on Gameday: should an undefeated ND be in the CFP

Lee: “Yes. 100% they are in because I’m telling you they’re in. They’re in.”

Herbie: “but should they be?”

Lee: “Yes. Because i’m telling you they’re in”

??

Man I agree with Herbie! They need to expand to 6-8 team playoff system! Funny they don’t mention what happened to UCF last year!

Hey says “they” too much. Hard to tell which team he is talking about.

It would be an embarassment if UCF would have gotten in with that schedule.

You beat me to this. Unfortunately age has caught up to him. I hate this for him because he's passionate about football and he's become a Gameday fixture on Saturdays, regardless of his opinions.

Every time Lee talks he looks like he’s about to jump into Herbie’s lap. He leans over really far and only talks to Herbie

Ok, but they were still undefeated, came in and spanked an SEC team in Auburn, what’s to say they didn’t beat Clemson or Alabama. We would never know.... just like everyone counted them out when it wa announced they were playing Auburn, everyone automatically counted them out and they destroyed Auburn.

Last year, if you looked at resumes and not wins, Auburn should have been in.

My God they played top-5 teams four times. Unheard of.

Saban once against gets to skip the SEC championship and still play for the Natty.

For all he’s done for the game, I say leave him in the game, coach.

I rewatched the 2003 LSU Georgia gameday and it was really awesome/sad seeing how vibrant and witty Corso was. fricking strokes man.

The guy is 83 years old . We'll see how well your mind works when you get that old.

Probably not. He has had several strokes, including one during Gameday a few years back.
