Sam has some things to work on for sure but he’s a slippery bastard. And most of the passing game issues were drops. I think they’ll be fine.

He’s better than Nuss Bus and The President. Big upgrade at QB1.

it sounds like you are a real great guy to watch a game with
lots of unsolicited commentary

the good thing is this board doesn't know shite about QB play.

Love his athleticism, but running around like that is how your QB gets hurt
Glad we have good backups

Something tells me that if I went all the way back to 2019 in your post history then I would find you criticizing or “worrying” about Burrow

There is a LOT yo clean up this week. The freahman DTs were a big problem. We need Harris badly.

You sound annoying

I agree, he should step right up into the oncoming DL. Idiot

In what regard were the freshman DTs a problem? They gave up zero explosive runs and Gerald’s was generating pressure up the middle quite often. Big Rich was an absolute plug in the middle when he was in

Neither do you NFL scout

He did. But make no mistake, Ashton Hampton and Elliot Washington were not "pushovers." Before the game, they were regarded as one of the better CB duos in the country. So the near misses, may not have been as "lucky" as it otherwise appeared.
No, he means he threw into some bad reads, and got away with it...no mater who the defender was. The defenders were doing anything extraordinary, it was bad reads/throws.
Biggest thing I noticed is he is settled and throws, or he takes off running, and passing isnt an option anymore. He takes a lot of hits that way.
He will need to learn to use his legs to get out of trouble, but keep looking uphold to pass.
Hes a great athlete...but so is everyone else once SEC battles start

I mean, it was his first game with a new team/new WRs after returning from a season-ending injury in front of 102,000 people. My concerns were very little with all that taken into account as well as how unbelievable his running was.

Lmao. That was one of the best opening games LSU has ever played. What an idiot.

Jarrett Lee had a similar habit when there was pressure in his face and against better secondaries this is going to get Sam in trouble as well.
SuperFanDan I watched Jarrett Lee, I cheered for Jarrett Lee, Jarrett Lee was a study of mine.
SuperFanDan, Jarrett Lee is no Sam Leavitt.

Look it was the young man's first game in Tiger Stadium. Everything is naturally moving at the speed of light. They will watch game tape and work on drills during practice to clean this up.
Lets go!!!! Leavitt for the Heisman!

Ever watch Mahomes? Throwing off platform is a thing these days.

They must not understand the mindset of "knowledgeable LSU" Fans.

I don’t like it from any QB, instant Jared Lee memories.
