honestly it should'f been worse

...and yet the game boiled down to an onside kick attempt that LSU was extremely lucky to recover. That one was even dicier than the recovered OSK attempts vs Texas & Bama

LSU could'f easily lost to The Barn in 2019

Considering that Miles coached more than twice as many years as any other LSU coach in this period, he should have most of the answers.

But if you want to count lease dominant losses:

2000 UAB

2000 Arkansas

2001 Ole Miss

2002 Arkansas

2017 Troy

2022 Kansas State

Forgot about that one. Arkansas was TERRIBLE that year, first year of Beilema. They were 0-8 SEC, yet had LSU on the ropes, who relied on ANTHONY JENNINGS to orchestrate a 99-yard drive to pull that game out of the fire. Let that sink in

The Tennessee game that we lost then won due to them having 13 guys in the field on the last play.
Everybody call T-Bob and thank him for calling that time out.

We lose if he doesn't have the presence of mind to get the Refs attention and call it.
t-bob snapped the ball when he seen the play clock under 5 seconds, he didn't call time out. & that was when tennessee had 14 players on the field, i think les' subbing in 3 players with 12 seconds left in the game screwed tennessee up

Yes it’s kinda hard to go undefeated when you face 7 top ten teams in a season for anyone. No other so called “GOAT” team faced a schedule near as brutal as that 2019 team did.

You're 100% right about TBob. I was at the game. My brother called me and complained about the Tigers losing. He turned off the game before the penalty!

Bunch of them in 2010, beating WVU 20-14 with barely 200 yards of offense comes to mind

Jordan Jefferson was 10-22 75yards with 2INT in that game. Thats amazing LSU won that game. That 2010 team way overperformed. Could easily been 7-5 and Miles fired.

Holy shite this is the dumbest post I have ever seen on this board. And that is saying something. Please tell me that this was a joke.

I think y’all are missing his point.

The game was lost. Everyone thought so. They dumped Gatorade on the coach

It took a “ miracle” to win.

Too many to count in Les Miles Era

Yep... It sure sucks to have won so many games for over a decade …. unimpressively. I hated that too. It was much better when Saban won only 8 games dominantly, well not really....but... Or when Denardo won big " all the time".. Or Archer... even Choll'y Mac would love Les's record.

I win is a win.

Kids?

LSU could'f easily lost to

Any team, at any time.. could easily lose.... .. Winning is harder, and what matters.

Are you one of those Twatz who get your F.. ing feeling hurt if your team wins, but not in a dominate fashion? 134 teams = 1 winner, 133 losers.. fire the coach, bad season...

we lose way before that if LEE does not complete a 4th and 16 to keep last drive alive.

I’ll raise you LSU/UF 2020

Offense needed a penalty from a shoe thrown downfield to sneak into FG range

yeah,,, but we were a bad team and they were going to the SEC championship (and gave Bama fits that game, it came down to possessions). AND it was at Florida.

I would say "least dominant win" doesn't apply to tight upsets, it's more about teams we should have destroyed, but squeaked or coasted by.

Someone mentioned App State- it wasn't a Jamarcus Russell game. It was Hatch and Lee in 2008, and we were coming off a national title. Hatch couldn't throw a pass 20 yds down the field, but he kept coming back in because Lee kept throwing interceptions.

I sat next to Will Muschamp’s parents in that game. Before the game there was a downpour.. Will’s dad went for cover and his mom stayed in the rain. When Will’s dad came back, I asked him if he was in trouble? He said definitely. LOL. I told him I know where Will got his intensity from. He laughed and agreed. His dad was the most likeable guy you’d ever want to meet. His mom… she was all in.

2014 Wisconsin where the only reason LSU won was because Wisconsin had a converted safety playing QB that couldn’t pass to save his life, Tanner Mcevoy
good one that’s forgettable. I remember we were on vacation and worn out after a very active hiking day. We were so awful in that opener I went to bed before the game was over (down 24-7 in 3Q) and didn’t find out we won until breakfast the next morning. I was shocked.

fun fact that made me realize ( ): we’ve lost twice as many season openers in the past 4 years than we lost in the previous 25 years combined (2016 Wisconsin, 2002 VT)
