You realize these are the exact same complaints we had in 2022 with Daniels and denbrock? What’s the common denominator?

Last year was an aberration bc Daniels was so good Kelly finally took his conservative shackles off the offense and allowed downfield and over the middle passes. But Kelly wants to pound the rock with a basic inside zone scheme and throw conservative out routes for 8 yards. It’s who he’s always been

Sloan is as boring as a sofa pillow, same shite over and over. Run up the middle, run up the middle, 3rd and 4, run an "out" where the receiver runs a 2 yard route, 4th and 1, PUNT. No phucking imagination, NONE!.
He was still trying to establish the run with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Did Kelly not see this? We had 2 opportunities to lock up this game and we went, 3 and out. WTF!

There's a handful of things that point to Sloan, unfortunately.

Our points didn't match our offensive production. Poor Red Zone offense is a coaching issue.

The running game looked bad...even when we were somewhat productive.

Deciding to change the offensive game plan from what was working (20-24).

Never returning back to a pass heavy attack throughout the 2nd half.

He's in over his head.

Sloan never would have been hired if he didn’t have Underwood on the hook. You just kinda have to take it for what it is and hope it’s adjusted.

They were running the same things they did last year, without the dynamic players they were privy to in 2023.

Again this exactly how we looked in 2022 with denbrock.

Should have said promoted Sloan but the point is the same. He had limited experience at a lower level to be calling plays in the SEC. Was hoping I was wrong for doubting it.

Nope, Kelly’s offense and the same pattern we’ve seen under now 2 coordinators. This is on BK, why do you think he was so mad last night. You don’t get that mad at your kids only at yourself.

Also, Nuss HAS to do a better job of reading the defense of the RPO. There were several times where if he pulled the ball and ran around the corner he would have went for huge gains or a TD.

How do RPO’s relate to Nuss pulling the ball and running?

I agree with the playcalling issues. But no I lay this on Kelly. People keep blaming coordinators. This is Brian Kelly’s team. He gets the blame.

I agree. That's what big contract is for.

Agree. Play calling is most under the microscope based on your red zone production. We also didn’t have enough shot plays which is inexcusable with our WRs.

Running game is as poor when they needed it too. He needs to do a lot better of a job driving this car.
