I don't think Murphy is overrated at all.

Because no one rates him.

Hester

Both Scott and Keiland could have done just as well, probably better than Hester in 2007

And I will bow out this thread

R. Murphy is up there. Based on what we have seen from him thusfar, I would think M. Ford is also pretty overrated.

If Miles wasn't Rayvilly biased Murphy would be out performing Ridley.

no hype surrounding hester. kid worked his arse off to get on the field as a fb as a freshman. no question he won a few games for us his senior year as a rb, but there was never really any hype behind hester. there were no unrealistic expectations for him to reach.

almost all of our recruits are overhyped here....hard to answer this. funny to see people debate about kw. like we have any way of knowing how good he would have been had he had more carries. the fact is he never beat out any back we had to win a starting job.

How can people say Hester is over hyped??? He was a 0-2 star coming into college. I would say he underrated. Dude was a beast and one of my favorite RBs ever at LSU.

shite we have a stable of running backs and some barley see the field.

And one of them is 9th in the country in rushing yards despite the fact that we have NO threat to pass the ball.

That's evident by the amount of times he has gotten the rock

Hester definitely was not overhyped coming out of high school, but he's overhyped now in retrospect.

Murphy wins though.

Williams's career was severely mishandled

Off topic, but anyone wonder what Xavier Carter could have done (besides kneeling a kickoff at the one yard line) if he had stuck with football.

Carter couldn't run a route other than a fly pattern.
