Lane is forcing the NCAAs hand

I believe Lane is doing this to force some sort of leadership to step up and enforce rules with NIL, eligibility, etc. Nobody in the NCAA leadership has done anything except sit on there asses while the sport we love burns down. The way college athletics have been going the past 5-7 years is unsustainable. Pushing for an oversight of college athletics that is sustainable and more fair than what we have now. That’s why I think Lane is exploiting the loopholes in these loosely written rules.

If he plays them, the sec sues. If he doesn’t, the players sue…. Dumb that adults couldn’t figure this out

The beef is with the SEC.

The other programs really showing their true colors. Pathetic and full of fear

No. He isn't. And if so, it isn't his job description. Let someone else create this chaos. Leave us out of it. I don't want to watch LSU with some cloud of uncertainty like sanctions waiting down the road. He's getting 90,000,000 to coach and build the program not saves college football.

You could argue he’s trying to end the chaos.

I don’t think the NCAA has any power to do anything anymore. The conferences basically just ignored their rules.

The definition of “pro” in college sports went out the door with NIL.

Evil genius. Did the same with fake injuries. Was tired of defenses faking injuries against his no huddle offense, so blatantly exposed the loophole and forced a rule change.

LSU does not have to add them. If they fi, then LSU is stuck with them and liable for fines if they cut them later.
