Gotta love a perfectionist.

"I was shaky tonight. I went as far as I could with what I had."

He went 5.1 and gave up 2 hits.

"Three walks. That can't happen."

I thought he did great for his 1st game, but you could tell he was getting tired toward the end of his pitch count...

Ballsy effort in his first start. Love that he isnt satisfied with three walks but it was otherwise a great debut.

As advertised, LM is the real deal. He was working very quickly through 4, then he started slowing as he got tired. He'll mature quickly.

man, that’s pushing it, but I can see this before the end of the year. Reminds me of Aaron Nola.

I thought, when he went to back to back 3 ball counts, that it was time to get the bullpen going. Then he got the first fly out to left field and I knew the end was near. When Marceaux is on his game, it's strike out or ground out. I especially liked how he stepped up with runners in scoring position and got the needed strike out to end the inning. For his first outing as a Tiger, he did really well. I'm looking forward to longer stints on the mound as he settles into his role.

He was just what we expected. Seemed to have a problem locating pitches in the fifth and sixth innings. Could have been fatigue.

He seems to be the kind who learns and gets better.
