The kid was literally 0-5 passing last week. Let's pump the breaks.

That’s what analysts, GAs and interns are for. They go through tons of film and bring the staff a short list of guys to look at further.

Clark comes off as a kid who is not happy sitting behind someone. I think he knew that’d be the case this year but with his success in limited time, I’m sure he’s already of the mindset that next year he’s either starting here or somewhere else

You know none of this.

But yeah, I’d imagine next year he’s gone unless Sam left for the draft and Landen is told he’s the guy.

That depends on what he values and who comes offering. If he is well-paid in NIL and sees a clear opportunity to start for 1 or 2 seasons after Leavitt (assuming he stays another year), he would have an opportunity to run an offense that features QBs and gets them all drafted.

Would he leave that to go start at a school like Texas or USC- probably. Those aren’t likely, but they are great programs that have talent and can feature a good QB.

Would he leave to be the starting QB at Iowa or Iowa State? Maybe drop down to a G6 program that will pay like South Florida? I think that’s debatable.

Give me one shred of evidence to suggest what you are saying.

Also, do you think any second string QB at a major program is not wishing they would be a starter? Explain the difference between Clark and anybody else.

Landon Clark can be easily replaceable, so if he chooses to leave, goodbye

Oh woe is us. Lamenting the loss of our back up QB,......next season. Only on the rant.

Longstreet is a more likely candidate to transfer than Clark at this point. If Clark starts and shows he's capable at any point this season I doubt LSU lets him walk. They'll just up his pay.

Outside of future 1st rd pick like Lance heard, lsu rarely losses kids they want to keep

One area I will not worry about with Kiffin is the QB. The dude is phenomenal at finding talent there.

And yet if we had decent consistent QB play we’d be undefeated. QB going into the 2nd half of the A&M game was our weakest point as a team. Bad take.

I agree. LSU is not getting outbid for anyone they want to keep. Would have to be other external factors. If LSU lets someone walk it's because they don't think the dollar value is worth it. Really that simple. They could be wrong obviously but anyone they see as a future stud they're not letting them walk like Deuce Gerald has no shot going anywhere else unless he just wants to.

Like Kiffin let Parker walk which is the only WR I thought we should've kept. What has he done this year? Absolutely nothing. Maybe he was right.

One thing you don’t have to worry about with Lane is QBs …

Clark also knows Sam's injury history. Decent chance he has to start more than 1 game for us this year. Hope not, but he's a decent backup.

You know you’re having a easy day when you concoct such a ridiculous idea and decide to post it on TD
