I’m pretty sure the issue here is him not wanting to wait behind a potential top 5 pick in Will.

bullshite excuse. He watched Will Campbell start at LT at Neville and at LSU. He knew what the depth chart looked like when he signed here. Now, he's all of a sudden blindsided by the fact that he's not the LT. Miss me with that shite.

NFL don’t give a rat’s a$$ about LSU and your feelings if “HE” can play he will play period. If Heard goes to another school starts for two years and plays up to his potential nobody will even care except us.

This man's talent and huge stature will get him to the next level.. He can go play Left Tackle at another Power 5 program and get the money he feels he deserves.. It's a win win for him.. Calling him selfish is selfish, he doesn't owe LSU or it's fans anything..

This is not on the kid, it’s the greedy handlers that’s representing him looking to make a bag off the kid. It just may be one of you muthaphukas in the thread!

His arm tattoo “money over everything” doesn’t mean a thing right?

The trend of athletes chasing the money is going to be detrimental to their development.

So when players transfer to us they are smart, and when they transfer away they are not smart. Thanks for educating us. I never knew it was this simple.

Say hi to his family at the next crawfish boil, since you know them so well.

Do these kids not realize when draft interviews come around they’ll have to answer for stupid shite like this?

They don't care.

They didn't care about Burrow or Chase, and they won't care about JD, either.

Burrow actually graduated from Ohio State before transferring. That is a very different situation.

I love how people always say this with such confidence when it makes no difference in terms of football

Here's the REAL DEAL
and i'm a diehard Tigers fan

IF HE WERE YOUR KID... PUT THIS IN YOUR HEAD

1) Grew up NOT Rich (not saying poor)
2) 5* athlete, played every game, but not able to PUSH THE OTHER GUYS OUT
3) Paid via NIL likely 50k (maybe $100k)
4) ANOTHER SCHOOL COMES AT YOU w a figure 4-5 TIMES THAT AMOUNT (is the real issue here)

PUT IT IN YOUR PERSONAL SPOT
You have a job you love and you are making $50k a year
Someone Recruits you w a starting salary of $250k a year

You tell your son, take the $$$$$ especially if it is a team on the RISE or is already there
He signs w Bama or MORE LIKELY KIFFEN (my guess)
Kiffin needs a NEW QB and he can pitch HEARD WILL BE HIS BLIND SIDE PROTECTOR

My Guess in a week, he'll sign w Ole Piss

****UNLESS LSU ANTE's up

you don't skip bowl practice and then... a frigging bowl game... a GAME... and expect anyone to ante up.

That's the worst negotiating tactic ever to get someone to "ante up" because guess what, it is NIL- it isn't up to LSU. It takes working some donors and outside parties to get it lined up. So you don't get something on demand so you bail on a bowl game, where the future players get their first shot, and expect someone from outside the "official" program to look at that and say 'hell yeah, that's the guy I'd like to throw money at- the one sitting on his phone from his couch in Monroe; he's who I want as my poster child".

I would hate it, but If he is leaving LSU, and I'm him, I'm headed to Oxford.

They will pay, he will play and they could win a NC next year.

Personally, If I'm him, I'd stay and learn / take over one of the other positions and become more versatile and wait to move into Left tackle once it is open.

What NFL team doesn't want a OL that is a jack of all trades and great at ALL OF THEM. That's MONEY Dude, put that on a cracker!
