You are probably one of the guys who said Chase’s stock was gonna drop too. GM’s don’t care if he transferred after his freshman year to get playing time and money. The pearl clutching about this kid bizzare.

He will do fine in the draft if he excels at somewhere, even UCF or the likes. But, yeah, he would have been better off staying put and showing versatility.

They won’t have to answer shite. It’s only an issue when they leave LSU. Did Burrow have to answer questions? Will Jayden answer questions? Will Wingo answer questions? Will Verse answer questions? No!! Dislike Heards choice all you want but it affects nothing.

If he’s talented, he will get a shot in college. If he does well in college, he will get a shot in pros. Transferring is not what it was 5 years ago. Without it, LSU would be worse off rather than better off

Does anybody think Heard would get a starting job next year or even by his junior year? Not the left tackle job he wants since Campbell seems to have that nailed down, but where / when would he get his chance? He could probably start next year at another school.

Maybe,… but you are 20 once and wanting to play as a starter. The guy obviously wants to play, and he knows what position he wants to play. Someone will definitely give him that chance. CBK has strong ideas and years of experience that give him the confidence to make these difficult choices about what’s best for the team. You can’t blame Heard for trying to make those choices for himself. Maybe not the best choice, but we don’t know that.
