I hope he has a monster year and is rewarded for coming back.

Collins swam against the tide in Baton Rouge, opting to put off the NFL for one more year. The two-year starter and All-SEC second-teamer wants to use his finale to play his way into the first round after receiving a second round projection.

Can't overemphasize how huge it is that he decided to stay. He can anchor an OL that will be desperately in need of experience. Can't wait to hear LF thank his O Line

Agreed. Will be huge for a rookie QB to have a monster at LT protecting him.

Does not compute.

Pls provide your definition of inexperience

I think he was saying that with the youth we have at the skilled positions on offense, we couldn't afford an inexperienced OL.

So, La'el will be the biggest reason why.

I think.

this...unknown qb, young receivers, no proven super-star rb so we're going to need a dominant oline if we want to exceed ten wins. plus, his staying mitigates the loss of CR by giving us another year to prepare or find a suitable replacement.

only 4 schools in the SEC with a returning player who is "NFL ready".
No schools with more than one.
So it tells me that all but 19 schools had a worse attrition rate than us.

but it's A LSU problem. I know.......
