Lacy would be running the fry station at the Thibodaux Popeyes if he couldn’t run fast and catch a football.

Exact thug mentality that lost the game. But keep acting hard and see where that gets you.

100 yards in the first half and offset that performance with a brain dead penalty.

We lose too often because of a lack of discipline. If people were honest, they’d see that two major penalties set us up to lose and neither was a physical penalty. That’s the reality and Kelly has to change course and do something

Some of you allow this to affect too much of your life.

Basically was benched in the second half when we refused to throw to him.

He wasnt the only one doing the shooting motion. It wS done earlier in the game.by another player and wasnt caught. This is something they have been doing in practice and not nipped by the head coach. Here is video earlier in game "instagram link"

USC players might have been doing those gestures at him. So many teams do the imitation gat gestures. He had a tinge of anger about it. I'm just guessing, but it might've been a reaction to them doing gestures that the referees didn't see.

You can’t make people different than what they are.

Guys do selfish things that hurt the team because those selfish things are more important to them than what the team is attempting to accomplish.

Is that a rhetorical question or you really don’t know?

Maybe I should have asked what is a crime. Can you define a crime, Lester? I bet you cannot.

ok, but the coach has the power to hand out punishments to modify bad behavior. If those punishments are severe enough, even complete idiot players will understand there's a line they cannot cross.

If a coach is soft on punishments, players will keep doing stupid things.

I mean, did you ever see Saban's players get dumb unsportsmanlike conduct penalties? I honestly can't remember any. Saban's teams were disciplined.

Why do you think that is?

I thought about it, and no. He just needs to learn from his mistake and be a leader.

How did that penalty offset his play in the first half? I’d argue the biggest thing that offset his first half performance was Sloan’s apparent lack of getting him the ball in the second.

Seems like a great time to find someone open down the field instead of continuing to try to establish the run that never worked

The 2 penalties were costly for sure.

But you are correct. Not only was the run not there, but when it was, it was Emery doing it so he continued to run Williams.

Kelly can bang the table all he wants but this was on him. And we are staring at another failed season

Too late, should've been benched when he hit our sidelines. Discipline has to be instant, for maximum effect. Lacy didn't skip class, he simply has none.
