Alabama and Florida(our last 2 champions) combined for 10 picks in first 2 rounds. Florida's class won win they were juniors so you'd have to believe they were either starting or seeing a lot of pt, and then of course you have Bama.

This is the first year LSU's class has dropped, before that were players who were winning National Championships and we were spitting out NFL talent left and right. (I say this because they were either juniors or seniors when playing in the NC game). I see a direct correlation there.

Not real concerned about who goes to the nfl . Just win some great games. We'll be ok.

It's a combination of a lot of things:

1) LSU talent is overrated especially by its fans.
2) Player development is pretty bad
3) Lack of focus, intensity and drive by almost all on the team and scouts and teams have noticed it now.

This all goes back to Les and his staff.

100 % Miles recruited and developed.

Funny how those lower ranked kids recruited by Shula were actually developed into 1st round NFL talent.

NFL now believes that LSU players are soft and lazy - Sad

1)Les Miles and coord's due to poor talent evaluation, lack of player development, using players the wrong way, schemes

2)Coach Moffitt due to lack of player development in terms of physicality, stamina, etc.

3)simply our players did not match with NFL team needs.

I know it's a combination of both but what would you blame MORE.

It seems like we have a lot of guys whose negatives are that they are "soft" so that's why I single out Moffitt.

this makes no sense. And to argue your point, every time a coach,AD,assistant gets fired, is that not a way of blaming them?

I see a pattern here I'm not liking and if LSU doesn't step up next year all hell will break lose in BR.

4) Saban not even trying to recruit after he won the BCS because his mind was on the nfl which is also why we had a shittie season in 04 and we lost to Iowa and now that class is seniors.

and Les.

Too bad half of the players mentioned in that article were Saban players... I know, it does not fit your agenda.

Wow, completely shocking that the 2 best teams in the country the last 2 years had the most people drafted. Goddamn fricking shocking. We weren't that good, why the frick whould we have a bunch of guys drafted high?

Tell me, what exactly is the appropriate number of 1st and 2nd round picks for a 9-4 team? Too many, and Miles sucks because he sqaunders talent. Too few, and he sucks because he can't identify talent or develop it. Make up your fricking minds, Miles haters. Pick a reason why you hate him and fricking stick to it. Quit hedging your bets like fricking cunts.

Of course I would be upset with both scenarios you just put out. The best teams put out the best talent and vise versa. Yes I'm upset with Miles and wish him gone. We have been at the top consistently in recruiting yet he cannot translate that raw talent to polished players ready for the NFL like the Florida's and Bama's of the world.
