looked like it could've bounced off something right on top of the fence but idk, there was a game last weekend (Georgia Arkansas maybe) where it hit the very top/possibly the guardrail between the top and the fence (inches) and they called it back. Then need some cameras on the fence line. throw some go pros up and it wouldn't be too difficult to tell.

Too dangerous for the players to be on the field, but send out the tarp team as lightning fodder.

I dont know, rantz seems to think they go back to the score before the 7th inning, which would negate bradens hit

But it was rantz, so who knows. I thought they only went back to the previous inning if it changed the outcome

According to Rantz it would go back to the score at the end of the 6th. So 12-8 if that's correct.

and that is one stupid rule...

I kind of get it since it was the last inning completed but hate it for Braden if the game is called

Yeah that rule makes no sense at all. What is the point of erasing runs and plays that already happened just bc of weather?

You just seem to be throwing out hot takes all over the place

I'm not throwing out any hot takes. I'm commenting on things as they happen just like everyone else.

I was complaining about Mainieri making Arnold bunt when he had two doubles already, and then he just came up and got another hit, which further shows how dumb it was to ask him to bunt, when he's seeing the ball well, as well as the fact that Tech can't get outs, so why GIVE them outs?

Is there any of that you don't understand, or is that another "hot take" to you? You're just talking out of your butt, with that garbage.

Why?
LSU is the home team. Tech already batted in the top of the 7th. Score should stay as it is 16-8

That's what I was wondering, too. Interesting...had the inning started 8-8 and the home team took a 16-8 lead...would it actually revert? Visiting team could just stall the game like a Sunday road team back in the day.

agreed, i thought it only applied when the home team needs to be protected when they were trailing and they werent given an opportunity to bat

which makes it dumb we even have a yellow line

I think the yellow line is useful as a visual aid. If that was a green wall all the way to the top it would be hard to see close plays at night.

It only reverts back if the game is called. If they stall, it would pick up at the time the game was postponed.

No, think that only applies to the road team if they were to take that 16-8 lead

Is anybody remaining on our schedule ranked higher than Tech?

This is an important win for us.

Maybe but a lot of parks don’t have a yellow line
