I was talking to my wife last night and put myself in the position of my grandpa being killed and taken away from his grandkids and family by some hood rat then having every wannabe in Louisiana sing his praises like this was a mental illness thing and he was such a great guy and it’s so gross, you people are the worst. Let’s memorialize a guy who killed someone then went on a police chase with a gun and just said frick it because he couldn’t handle the consequences of his own actions.
So many amazing people and former tigers out there get no attention on this board during times of need, etc. and yall are this hung up on Kyren Lacy of all people? Reevaluate yourselves and your need for validation by copying other lemmings

Not to mention his family is probably already having a service of some kind, I'm not sure why something else is warranted. I'm not even sure what the op means by , do something special.

I feel bad about what happened to him, but that's no excuse for what he did. It's sad that he felt the need to take his own life, thinking that was his only choice. He could have faced the consequences and maybe after paying the price for what he did, he may still have had the chance to change his life and go on. He was young and had a long time to straighten things out in his life. Now, he leaves behind a grieving family that has to second guess if they could have done more for him to straighten things out.

The situation was terrible all the way around. I feel bad for all the families involved with this series of tragic events. Why would you want to glorify any of that, especially the suicide part, with a statue? It should be for players who did extraordinary things in sports for LSU, not for this...
