26 wide receivers ran faster on a slower track at the combine

26 wide receivers also jumped higher than 33.5 inches.

Those aren't good numbers for a guy with off the field issues he has. I really don't see him getting drafted. He may get signed as an UDFA if he can get his legal issues cleared. He didn't help himself with those numbers hoping a team is willing to take a risk on him despite his current baggage

not bad for a big WR

Of course it's fast, it's not fast for an nfl receiver though. I was on a team in high school that went deep into the playoffs every year and didn't have a single person on the team that ran a 4.5 40 , so yeah, it's fast for a high schooler and fast for you're average receiver in college but not fast for the nfl or number one receiver on a perennial sec powerhouse

DeAndre Hopkins (4.57) Future HOF
Davante Adams (4.56) Future HOF
Mike Evans (4.53) Future HOF
Antonio Brown (4.56) Future HOF
Dez Bryant (4.52)
Cooper Kuup (4.62)
Ceedee Lamb (4.50)
Jerry Rice (4.5) HOF

You misspoke without doing the proper research. Like I stated, a 4.5 40 is fast enough for the NFL.

6’2” is 68% percentile
215 is 81% percentile

He’s a big WR

Gotta admit, I don't really understand the simping for this dude.

I'm not sure why not acting surprised he is at the pro day is simping.

quote:

Innocent until proven guilty has less than zero to do with LSU allowing him to be in their facilities after he allegedly killed a veteran and didn't care enough to stop and help.

His attorney claims he didn't cause the accident. Some of what initially came out was inaccurate. He didn't hit a car at all, the question is if he was passing, possibly illegally, and caused the accident.

quote:

this is a bad look imo.

Until he is convicted or pleads, it has the potential to be a bad look either way. If he is found not guilty or exculpatory evidence is found that proves he was not at fault, it looks just as bad.

LSU is sort fo in a no-win situation with this. I am not surprised nor would I have been if they had denied him the opportunity..

Not really, unless your game is speed.
It would be one thing if he were 5’10” 170. But he’s 6’2” 215. 3 of the top 5 WR prospects are around that time.

4.5 40 isn't great if you have bad hands. He was always an agility guy though based on broadcasts.

Nope. Goes to Grand Jury next month. If they decide it's worth to head to court, which they will, he'll be in court most of next year. No team will touch him until all charges are dropped or not guilty is given.

4.50 is a very solid weight-adjusted time for a 215 lb WR.

He’s a jumbo slot guy. I don’t know if he’ll be drafted but he was a 2nd-3rd rd guy before his legal troubles

You never stated that and no one ever said 4.5 isn't fast enough for an NFL wide receiver.
