I hope so too, but he is the 6th WR… barring any injury to someone else he might get 10-12 catches this year

He fought his way past some older and more athletic WRs last year because of how sold and versatile he is. He runs great routes, has good hands, and he was a very capable blocker for a true freshman. That’s something that most of our WRs struggled with last season and was part of the reason the bubble screen game wasn’t as effective as it could have been.

I think the staff was willing to part with Daniels and his bigger NIL requirement because they knew Parker could replace what he gave us and have more years to play. Parker won’t be on the field at all times, but he’s going to have a role. And if we have any injuries, he’s one of the ones whose role will increase.

So who is he playing over, in your opinion?

I don’t think there is any specific set of receivers that will be playing more than others. It’s going to depend on who has the hot hand. So you figure whatever combination of burner you have that can stretch the field and the best intermediate route runners that are going to be possession receivers. Answer this question who is better in the slot Anderson or Parker?
Parker has great chemistry with Nuss.
He is an intermediate route runner with strong hands and knows how to use his body position. He’s going to play a bunch.
And this isn’t accounting for splitting Green out and having sharp in at the same time.

Unfortunately qb going to spend more time on his back than getting throws off. Wish bk put together at least a mediocre OL.

Judging by the downvotes I think we can officially declare you retard of the week.

Congratulations sir!

We have a lot of WRs.

I wouldn’t be too quick to being sure about who is going to be out there…

Les, enough arguing with rantards. Do you worry about too much shuffling like grandpa Jerry used to?

They don't even know how much run Parker has been getting with 1s while Nic Anderson was in concussion protocol from his accident & while Aaron Anderson has missed numerous practices with knee soreness.

Only concern should be possible play clock issues/delay of game penalties. It sounds like Sloan is taking a page from the old Saints playbook under Sean Payton where he plans to use numerous formations & personnel groupings. Players have to be sharp & be paying attention on the sidelines at all times in the event that their personnel grouping is called. Just something to keep an eye on in the opener vs Clemson.

I dont worry too much about shuffling as long as they arent playing Stephen Sullivan, Derrick Dillon or Jonathan Giles over a player like Ja'Marr Chase.

or have no nuance with the rotation. If a guy is torching the secondary, leave him in. Don't take him out because you have a set rotation every series. That is the shite Jerry did.

Of course I do. Parker will get maybe 20 catches all year. Even if he’s running first team while guys are nursing injuries in fall camp.

And yet he mentioned Kyle Parker again today in his press conference about the person who does everything right. I expect him to be on the field a lot.

I think he is going to have the same impact this year that Anderson did last year. That would be a great addition to our big receivers.

I believe with our receivers this year, could be a "pick your poison" for the defense. We have the ability to stretch the fieal with 2 burners and several receivers that excell down the middle/inside.

Nuss' ability to use the weapons will do allot to slow down the rush and help the O line do a better job.
